Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 4 → 2.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The main story mode is incredible. Honestly one of the best games I've played in a good long while. Lost to Echoes and Nexus have some incredible shaky level design that will have you pulling your hair out. Most of it is there to test the skills of players who have beaten the main game, and to that extent, it does succeed. But there is one part in Lost to Echoes in particular... that will make you consider a refund. Aside from that, the rest of the game is an A+.
Distance is a bold and unconventional arcade racing experience developed and published by Refract that deliberately pushes far beyond the boundaries of traditional racing games. Instead of focusing on laps, opponents, or conventional track layouts, Distance reframes the genre around survival, precision, and spatial mastery, placing the player in a surreal, neon-lit world where the road itself is often the greatest enemy. From its opening moments, the game makes it clear that success is defined not by speed alone, but by adaptability, awareness, and the ability to remain composed under constant pressure. At the core of Distance is a driving model that blends arcade responsiveness with platforming sensibilities. Cars accelerate smoothly and handle with precision, but they are also equipped with abilities that radically alter how players interact with the environment. Jumping, flipping, boosting, wall-driving, and eventually controlled flight turn each track into a three-dimensional obstacle course rather than a flat stretch of asphalt. As new mechanics are introduced, the game gradually teaches players to think beyond forward momentum, encouraging creative use of space and momentum to navigate hazards that twist, collapse, and shift around them at high speed. The single-player Adventure mode serves as both a tutorial and a thematic foundation. Rather than presenting a traditional story, it unfolds through atmosphere, environmental cues, and a persistent sense of unease. Tracks often feel less like racecourses and more like hostile corridors filled with traps, sudden drops, and unpredictable threats. The tone frequently borders on eerie, using lighting, sound, and sudden visual distortions to create tension that feels closer to a survival or horror experience than a typical racing game. This approach gives Distance a strong identity, making even solo runs feel purposeful and emotionally charged. Beyond the campaign, Distance reveals its depth through a wide variety of modes designed to test skill and mastery. Arcade tracks challenge players to perfect their execution through time trials, stunt-focused routes, and modes with limited checkpoints that punish mistakes harshly. Online leaderboards and ghost data encourage constant self-improvement, turning each run into a personal competition against both other players and your own previous best performances. Multiplayer further expands this chaos, supporting online races and local split-screen sessions that transform the game into a frantic battle of survival where unpredictability reigns. One of Distance’s greatest strengths lies in its tools for creativity and longevity. The built-in level editor is powerful and flexible, allowing players to construct intricate tracks filled with custom hazards, logic triggers, and visual flourishes. Steam Workshop integration has resulted in an enormous library of community-made content, ranging from meticulously crafted challenges to experimental and playful designs that push the game’s mechanics in unexpected directions. The Trackmogrify system adds yet another layer, procedurally generating endless variations of tracks that ensure there is always something new to tackle, even after hundreds of hours. Visually, Distance commits fully to its minimalist neon aesthetic. Stark geometric environments, glowing track outlines, and sharp contrasts create a futuristic atmosphere that emphasizes readability at high speeds while maintaining a striking visual identity. This is complemented by a driving electronic soundtrack that pulses in rhythm with the action, heightening tension and reinforcing the sensation of speed. Sound design is crisp and purposeful, providing immediate feedback for boosts, collisions, and airborne maneuvers, which becomes essential as tracks grow more complex. The learning curve can be demanding, particularly for players expecting a straightforward arcade racer. Distance requires patience and practice, especially once vertical movement and flight become central to progression. However, this difficulty is also part of its appeal, as mastery feels deeply rewarding. Each successful run through a previously insurmountable track delivers a sense of accomplishment rooted in skill rather than luck or upgrades. Ultimately, Distance is a game that thrives on experimentation and individuality. It refuses to conform to genre expectations, instead offering a hybrid experience that blends racing, platforming, and survival into a cohesive whole. Its commitment to mechanical depth, atmospheric presentation, and community-driven content has allowed it to endure well beyond its initial release. For players seeking a racing game that challenges perception, reflexes, and creativity in equal measure, Distance stands as one of the most distinctive and memorable entries in the modern arcade racing landscape. Very beautiful, very good music and hard as rock. Keep your nerves and your gamepads.
fun, amazing gameplay, sick graphics, and cool mechanics
Modern day Trackmania kinda
Absolute Cinema!
A very stylish arcade/beat racer, reminiscent in parts of Trackmania but very much it's own and very different thing. What took me aback quite a bit was the excellent story mode that does indeed tell a story, and a delightfully creepy one at that.
Brilliant game-play, amazing visuals and slapping soundtrack. Would love to see more. Edit: To whoever designed the last two achievements, DO NOT show yourself to me.
