About
Disminal is a First Person Exploration/Walking Simulator experience set in the backrooms where you will be able to wonder through some of it's unsettling and vacant places, is there an exit to be found? or will you be staying here forever, lost between two worlds.
This game will focus merely on immersion and appreciation of aesthetics.
Most zones/sections in the game are greatly influenced by YouTube videos and images depicting liminal spaces
Featuring a 'MPEG' mode which graphically mimics the artifacts seen in actual low quality videos so as to enhance the immersion.

Warning: If you dislike slow walking from A-B in general, dont bother. Because this is a slow walking game from one point to another. Okay, now is it a good walking sim game? I think it is. Ironically I loved Dear Esther because it had such a deep amount of narrating and story. Akin to Stanley Parable which is less walking sim and more mentality sim. But this one despite being entirely narrator-free, it's worth it. It's honestly kinda what backrooms would feel like before it got dumped with entities and a bunch of crazy stuff, good and bad. It's literally just you, slow walking in the backrooms from beginning to end (I would love this if it's more procedurally generated or atleast just very big and free roam), with some sort of guidance that's kinda helpful yet blends with the area somewhat. It's just very good vibes. And it's exactly justified in price. It's worth it. Honestly, its more like a wonderful app to use for backrooms screenshots.

the graphics are like the best this is the best backrooms game ever
worth the money. overall experience is good also find some cons: - there's no any flashlight or Night Vision; - very smooth walking;
This sets a very high bar for "Backrooms" games, possibly the best I've played so far. Never at any point did I feel lost, rather as if I was subtly being guided through this mysterious space by its architect. The environmental design creates a sense of unreality while gently ushering the player toward the next transition point, making for a very playable and eerily cozy experience. Finally, the low-res filter looks spectacular, and vaporwave aficionados will appreciate the nod to Infinity Frequency's "Between two worlds" - I didn't realize they also did the soundtrack until the end credits.

Simplesmente maravilhoso, backrooms na essência. Com certeza está no meu top 5.
A short but sweet liminal space walking game. You take a calm, quiet scenic hike through a variety of interesting indoor spaces, simply enjoying the solitude for about 2 hours. The game is priced appropriately for its length, even though I wish it was 10 times longer!
