I thought this would be a fun little experience by some indie developer. Not the best match three game I have every played, but at least some unique take on the genre or something funny. What I got was so bad it almost has to be intentional. Sadly not in a good way like it was meant to be a critique of the match three genre.
Firstly, the game has no menu or anything. You get thrown right into the "action". No fullscreen, no audio sliders or anything. From here on out you have the choice between matching things and being constantly bombarded with annoying sound effects or not mathcing things and hearing the same three voice lines over and over. In reality you will have to endure both as your boss starts talking after even a second of thinking.
The gameplay itself is as simple as it can be. You just click and drag over matching dishes and make them disappear which gives you points. Even this part is badly done though. Some dishes are pretty unique (red plates and green bowls for example) but two of them are just plates with thin, differently colores rims. Then there are tomatoes on some of them which makes them even harder to distinguish. I don't know if that is the intention of the tomatoes or if they give bonus points of some sort.
The "power up" you get for long chains are even worse. They take the form of dishwashing accessories like sponges or... vinyl records? You don't know for what dish they are though so you just drag around and see when they form a bond. Then a 3x3 grid of dishes disappears. That's all. Ok, the record plays some music. That's literally the must unique interaction in all of this game.
All in all I didn't even finish one round of this because the four ingame hours translate to roughly one real world hour of playtime! I was close to a mental breakdown after 20 minutes. I would have stopped after two minutes but I was constantly waiting for some kind of redeeming factor. There is none. This should have stayed on the developers hard drive as a learning experience and nothing more.
