Perfect if you're looking for a break from the "bleeding edge" of technology or graphical fidelity lol. This is a good and fun game where if you encounter glitches or bugs they just add to your enjoyment of it. Honestly a good game to represent what games felt like in 2012. Took me about 14 hours to complete a full playthrough.
People like this series. But not me. A lot of it just makes me wish I was playing metal gear solid, so I just do that instead.
probably the best stealth game ive ever played in my opinion. i love the look of the game, i love all the different options you get to choose from to how you want to attack every scenario and i love the story aswell. so much fun cant wait to get the second game aswell
It's good
One of my top 3 games of all time. Right alongside RDR2. The story narration is top tier, but the game frequently reminds you that the choices you make are what you play. The story isn't really just defined by cutscenes, but moreso by ingame journals, overhearing conversations, and reading papers. the vibe of the game shifts completely once you read and listen, for then you get a much deeper understanding of each of the other characters. the freedom you get in this game is utterly insane, and each level feels like a new world. the story pacing is absolutely perfect, and though predictable, it does still feel like you are the one responsible for how the people react, which is absolutely true. high chaos is super fun to play gameplay wise, and so is low chaos. you can choose to traverse in whatever way you choose, become a rat and go thru sewers, or fight your way through the arc pylon, its all left to you. and the fact that you can complete the entire game without killing a soul is bloody neat.
I came back to this game 10+ years after the my first playthrough. It's unbelievable how much BETTER the gameplay, the level design and the actual story is - compared to recently released AAA games. It's awesome to experience the subtle differences in storytelling in low vs. high chaos mode and I loved to complete the challenges forcing me to use all my extra abilities and discover all the routes carefully planned by the designers. I got goosebumps while playing the DLCs, it was like was watching a fantasy movie folding out in front of my eyes - while I was part of it! I was so hooked, I just had to complete all the achievements too. One of the rarest gem - thank you developers! ❤️
