The best tactics game, fun and addictive, I played it for the first time on Playstation 2 in 2003 and it was the game I played the most during those years.
I DONT understand how you would allow a masterpiece to fall apart?

lamento lo que paso el 12 de agosto del 2025 y hacia toda la gente afectada; Mis sinceras condolencias.
- It's impossible to get through the main story without extensive grinding unless you're using guides or Cheat Engine. And grinding in this game is boring as hell. - The game has none of the QoL improvements from the Complete version. - The store updates every time you open it, and, basically works as a loot box. Good luck buying particular consumables. Who on earth thought that opening and closing the same window to buy one thing was a great idea? - Whether you fight bosses or regular trash mobs, they get random stats/vulnerabilities every time you open a story map. Are you relying on a powerful fire spell? Too bad for you. It's time to restart the level 20 times to get a particular seed. - Item dungeons where you're supposed to spend all the time are procedurally generated. It isn't a bad thing by itself, but you often can't clear a level, because gaps are too big to throw a character across. - Counters are not an optional thing which often leads to characters killing themselves by deflecting attacks. - It's impossible to skip story cut scenes, unless you press the button on the level select screen, so if you misclick, you have to slog though dialogues.
Its hard not to love this game. Its full of character and personality and even though this isn't the complete edition and the port looks like it's from 1997, I don't mind that because the art is still decent and the personality is all there. However. This game absolutely sucks and I find it to be pretty much unplayable because of the issues around saving. There is no way to save between stages. And there is no way to exit a stage. Ever. Once you start you're locked in, even if you're headed for a game over. Either way you're getting booted to the title screen and losing every minute of progress you've worked on so far. If you power through multiple stages and reach a tipping point where you might have miscalculated, you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and there is nothing you can do about it whatsoever. The game hates you. But also, it is fun. And charming and I love it. But I hate it and I feel like I've spend 2/3rds of my runtime replaying sections that I lost due to saving issues. So I won't recommend this VERSION of the game, but this is an awesome game. Just wait for the complete edition to go on sale for console.
I've never been so excited to make numbers go up
