At first glance, $60 does feel a little steep, but that said, I've had a blast on this game so far. The missions are quick and never feel like a drag, and the game play loop is both addictive and satisfying. The story's a comedic riot that toes a fine line, being silly but not stupid nor shallow. The progression system manages to fuse the level grind with the scale of some of those incremental idle games, but without making it feel like the typical treadmill that so many games have become these days. To me these are truly some impressive feats, even if the graphics and gameplay aren't setting new high water marks. Obviously NIS made some choices to optimize for arcade-style replayability rather than a typical "play it once" story-driven single player game. It's not a perfect game by any means, but I'm glad it exists and happy I bought it.
I have attempted to play this game. I love Disgaea, but if the game keeps crashing after I play for 5-30 min it will not be getting my recommendation. The game play is a little to easy from what I saw, but I'm barely past the tutorial. I contacted support and I will update this depending on what they say.

Customizations for new/old companions More weapon skills/customization Less linear stats *readd intelligence, and speed being a primary stat again.* Multiple playable main characters Improvements to Item World to keep it from being too straight forward, and more choices to customize a weapon while within a Item World ---------------------------------------- This game is not worth its price. I will recommend it anyways for anyone who enjoys the disgaea.
Tout taper !!!! J'aime les meurtres de masses ! ;P Blague à part, c'est un très bon défouloir sans prise de tête, avec des parades, esquives, et combos qui répondent bien. Les commandes sont hyper ergonomiques et simples à prendre en main, et le gameplay très fluide. De plus, y'a plusieurs armes différentes, de quoi trouver son style favori et un autre point permet d'avoir de l'aide sur le terrain. C'est injouable sur steamdeck pour le moment (précisé que les graphismes lagues, et effectivement, ça lague fort, j'avais l'impression de revoir les chenilles de Windows 6 pour ceux qu'auront la réf) mais sur PC, aucun souci ! Bref, moi n'aimant pas les tactical rpg, je passe vraiment un très bon moment sur le jeu, et de ce que j'ai compris, je suis frustrée, car l'humour déjanté, parodique, barré, et absurde, c'est vraiment ce que j'adore, ben au moins, je pourrai en profiter avec cet opus. Bref, s'ils décident de se détourner du tactical pour d'autres styles de jeux, c'est pas moi qui vais leur reprocher. x) Je peux comprendre la frustration pour les fans, mais je peux aussi comprendre que les développeurs veuillent s'essayer à d'autres styles. Un bon Dynasty Warriors dans cet univers !
Fun, and I am interested to see what other Disgaea Games can be made in the future. This is a very fun experiment with reincarnation, and I would love to see different genres approached in the future or made into Disgaea games. Currently just making N.A. into a carnage level super Demon overlord. Then maybe grab that DLC later.
This game is absolutely not playable at all on the steam deck as of this review. The game does open and run, but the persistent graphical bug when rotating the camera is unacceptable. It is constant and headache inducing regardless of settings configured. Be warned that the "playable" status for steam deck is entirely misleading for this game, do not under any circumstances purchase this game with the intention of playing it on the steam deck. On PC, it is fine. I have the same issue with the price and DLC as other reviewers do, but it is still a fun time so far on PC and worth playing.

franchement étonner de ce Disgaea type Dynastie warrior et d'autre du même type. Ca garde bien l'esprit Disgaea avec un scénario WTF ;) Pour l'instant rien a redire à voir le End game :)
Assim...se você gosta de disgaea não espere muito, eu gostei, mas gosto de jogos toscos. O combate é em tempo real e tu pode alterar as armas..é divertido sim, porém não é a mesma coisa dos outros. ITEM WORLD TA BOM DEMAIS
