Horrivel, nao aparecem os planetas, comprem na loja da Oculus, Steam ja era....
Game does not work. Planets do not show in headset. Problem is known for a while yet no fix from the developers.
It works with my Oculus, but only barely. When it does work, it's just not fun... When I put on my headset and play a game, I don't want to sit still staring at nothing to get to the fun part... It's a game, can't we just forget about reality and teleport to wherever we want to go? Traveling for 5 minutes to get to Saturn is just boring... with nothing to do to preoccupy yourself in the meantime, you're twiddling your thumbs.
Lol. Careless devs forgot to include planets in their planet tour. Doh!
Warning: Main branch does not currently work with the Vive pro or Odyssey+ currently (no planets render). Only the original Vive, Rift, Pimax 5k+, and Pimax 8k. But there is an update coming to the beta branch. Just tested with the Pimax 5k+ on large fov and is amazing. All the planets render perfectly and it's extremely clear. Worked perfectly fine for me. The huge FOV and additional clarity the pimax provides makes this really special and extra immersive. In the free roam mode flying into the procedurally generated planets is amazing. The tours are also great. Highly recommend, this is the best chill VR space exploration experience available (next to elite dangerous) this is easy to just pickup and explore.
The tours are well done.... The complaints on the Planets not showing up on various headsets can be fixed by going here.. This Open Source utility (PseudoVive) can be used for your headset to be identified as a regular Vive to SteamVR applications. It works great on my Valve Index. https://github.com/schellingb/PseudoVive
I truly loved this game so much when it first came out. It was by far one of the best VR games for space exploration, but then one day no planets or stars would render. They were all gone, including even earth! So sad, no updates, just a great game that died too early for no reason.
Disappointing that there are no planets to see. (some kind of bug and apparently there is no fix coming for this). I really liked the sense of presence when sitting in and navigating the ship (this could have been one of my favorites!). Unfortunately, I can only navigate through space and can never see any planets because the bug prevents them from being visible, which renders this completely pointless. Apparently there is a 3rd party fix (see discussion area) that has worked for some but I am not willing to download something from an "untrusted site" for this. I am using the Reverb G2 with Geforce RTX 2070 Super. I don't know the technical reasons for this but apparently some can see the planets when they arrive to their destination but some like myself cannot see them.
I also had the "no planet" issue on my reverb G2. This can be fixed! (Check the tekst and link below.) There is a threat in de "discussion" form. Fix is made voor Vive but also works for diverend sets. When fixed this educational VR experiance is still great. Fix For No Planets. This Open Source utility (PseudoVive) can be used to force your Vive Pro to be identified as a regular Vive to SteamVR applications. I tried it with Discovering Space 2 and it works. https://github.com/schellingb/PseudoVive
