Après avoir joué à la démo et regarder quelques avis. Je pensais avoir trouvé un "cozy game" où le rôle fermier est remplacé par celui de commerçant. Grosse déception... Le jeu est linéaire au possible, aucune réelle interaction avec les habitants, aucun choix impactant, aucune autonomie. On ne peux même pas choisir d'ouvrir ou non son magasin ! On est automatiquement téléporté dedans quelques minutes après l'heure d'ouverture et on doit attendre l'heure de fermeture pour pouvoir le quitter... "Chercherez-vous les profits à tout prix, ou le bonheur de tous les Blomkestiens ?" Tu parles ! On suit l'histoire sans avoir son mot à dire, sans pouvoir faire grand choses autres que d'enchaîner les "missions" peu intéressantes. Le magasin, qui est pourtant présenté comme l'élément central finit par devenir un prison où on va "travailler" sans autre but que d'attendre de pouvoir en sortir.
This is a very fun twist on the genre of move into a town and make it better. I found the characters fun and the game mechanics enjoyable. I will say I feel like the game is missing some depth. Once you have the basic down it is just a time sink of getting points to unlock things.
Pretty fun, quirky game. I started after the People or Profit expansion which might have helped with my enjoyment of the game.

J'ai terminé le jeu et je le déconseille car j'en ai ras le bol de la rhétorique du "je peux faire mal aux autres si c'est bon pour ma famille ou mon business". Spécialement si le jeu joue trop la carte du mignon et pas de sa faute au personnage principal. Scénario linéaire aucun choix possible.
It’s not a hidden game, this game is so loud and being hyped so much. But honestly, it’s worth the hype! The game is a spin off from boring supermarket management game mix with choices game and voila, Discounty! I also love the last update for people or profit! You can replay the new update for 3X to get a different ending. If you’re a cozy game player, this is a MUST HAVE on your game collection.
5/5 !! I'm not a big fan of reading in game so the storyline doesn't really affect me usually, but i absolutely love the storyline ! The characters are endearring and i love the suppermarket kinda vibe its 100% worth it !
Discounty has story, the grind, the cute graphs. I highly recommend this game, it keeps you moving and entertained. And I also recommend doing all 3 endigns to see how the story can change.
Really enjoyable gameplay loop. It's very easy to just keep playing for one more day.
