Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.83/day in the week to Aug 5 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

great game!
This game has the same cozy vibe of farming sims with the dark subplots and mysteries of Stardew, but I'd argue that in a way it's less stressful because it's focused on running your store and not on all of the things that farming sims come with. It's the game I play when I'm taking a break from farming sims. It is a little grindy in the beginning but after you get some upgrades, earning money becomes fairly easy but not boring.

I am close to 11 hours in, and I am super happy I took the plunge and tried Discounty out. It's a lot of fun, with cute graphics and characters that are charming, that don't take themselves too seriously! Yet there's some challenges too and lots of tasks to juggle to keep you busy in and out of the store you're managing (and growing). I love working at the store during the day and doing my mix of foraging, trade deals and sleuthing at night! I can't wait to see where my story is going as I make my choices, for better or worse!
One of my favourite cozy shop simulation games tbh, I first played it on my switch and completed the game then bought it again on steam and well here we are 😂. I love the art style and shop management features, they are not stressful and quite easy to understand. The npcs are adorable in their own way, elmer is probably the funniest one out of them all though. And quite surprisingly it has a story with it too that's not that badly written! (it could be better in some aspects but I won't complain too much as I think this was the devs first game they made so I won't crap on the storytelling as I'm sure they will improve in future games) But overall it's a good cozy shop game experience, I would definitely recommend you buy it, it's definitely worth it 👍
Really enjoy the game of restocking and selling groceries mixed with small town drama. Keeps you busy while you're bored at work.
Jogo muito gostosinho! Recomendo!
很有意思啊
I really wanted to love this game. I played the demo before buying it, and I really liked it. I’ve always enjoyed supermarket management games, and Discounty seemed like exactly the kind of simple and cozy game I was looking for. I usually don’t enjoy games like Stardew Valley because there’s just too much going on for me. I find them overwhelming, so I really liked Discounty for being much simpler and easier to get into. But after about two hours, I realized it wasn’t actually as relaxing as I expected. Once I got further into the first chapters, unlocked new locations and met more characters, it started feeling a lot more repetitive to me. In the end, it gave me a very similar feeling to Stardew Valley, just in a different way. I also found most of the characters a little too rough. I wish they became a bit warmer and nicer after you had already spent some time getting to know them. I really tried to like this game because I loved the demo and the idea behind it, but at some point I realized I just wasn’t having fun anymore. I guess I was looking for that perfect middle ground between a simple management game and a cozy life sim, and unfortunately, Discounty wasn’t quite it for me. Still, I can definitely see why people enjoy it, especially if you like Stardew Valley-style games and supermarket management.
Loved it! BUT, my only gripes is it is hard to fully get into customising your store because the only downtime you get is Sunday and before/after closing which is taken up by restocking (even with Chester’s help) and buying more stock from traders AND resource gathering. It would be amazing to have the ability to shut down your store for “renovation” for as long as you need. Also, another gripe, the online ordering system. Which can only be used when the store is open…when you’re checking people out, restocking and cleaning up messes at the same time. I think a lot of people just ignore that part of the game. Then in the end game, you HAVE to do this like, 7 times in one day without negative feedback from customers. I just managed 5 to get the last blueprint and gave up when I had to do 7 to get more than one of the item (I’m deliberately being vague as to not give spoilers). I put the game down then because not only did 7 feel impossible to me, but even if I got it, finding time to use those blueprints and customise my shop in the little time you have was too much trouble than it’s worth. I loved the game up until that moment and gave up. I REALLY wanted to perfect my store but it was just beyond reach.
