When you operate in the aviation industry, the weather is a key influencer. To create realism we’ve implemented a detailed weather system allowing for real-time weather mapped in conjunction with the METAR system. Of course, you can alternatively choose to select the weather type if you wish to do so.
Within AirportSim, you’ll be provided with multiple game modes:
Scenario: Gameplay planned based on stacked flight plans, predefined weather conditions and tasks you'll have to complete in sequence.
Challenge: Feel like you can handle any situation at the airport? Test your skills by placing as high as possible on the scoreboard!
Cooperation: Together you can do more, and have more fun - invite your friends to join you on an adventure at one of the busy airports.
Free Play: No rules here, explore airports at your own speed and do as you please. You can watch the planes come and go or get involved, you decide!
Lacking a bit of customization, like for example your own airline? Don’t worry, we got you covered. AirportSim will launch with Steam Workshop integration, allowing for the creation of your own aircraft paint skins and gameplay scenarios, or for downloading the creations of others!

The game had a lot of potential when it came out. The team constantly updated it. But then they forgot the game. It has been a year since last update with barely anything new worth mentioning. The game is abandoned sadly.
I want to like this game but there's just so many bugs and it hasn't had an update in a year so I can't recommend it. It's a cool concept and it could've been a really awesome game if they would have kept updating it.
If you like the idea of being aground handler at a commercial airport, then this game will scratch that itch. It will let you load cargo, passengers, refuel, marshall, pushback, and so with with a good feel of realism. What it *won't* do is be free of bugs (some are tiny glitches like audio cutting out, others will prevent you from continuing in your session) have a sensible save feature (technically it saves, but it also forgets any of the tasks you've done already and where any of the vehicles were) or ever be updated (I gather the last update was in 2023 and the devs have been silent since then). I got it on sale for about £7 and it was worth that to me. Definitely wouldn't pay more than that, though.
I do actually like what the game has going on. It would have been an amazing game to build on. But it's abandoned. A lot of potential, scrapped, for to me an unknown reason. And there's none other like this. Sad.
The game is not bad... i mean few here and theres they tried their best and this game has a lot of potential but i dont know what the devs were thinking with the FOV's i dont know if its just me or what but the view and FOV in this game is just so lackluster that i got MOTION SICKNESS. Mind you i have been gaming for 10 years now... and i have played all types of games for hours and hours.. this is the first time in my life i experienced MOTION SICKNESS. I really did not like the camera views and the way it moves i tried messing up the motion blur too but it made it even more SICK(yes pun intended).... the game has good potential but yeah i feel like i wasted my money....
Gets boring after you have done all of the stuff. great graphics, but not my type of game.
As someone who used to do this job, it gave me nostalgia, but I can see why the bugs would take someone out of the game experience. Also, there are still so many things that could be done to the game, but it seems like it’s not getting updated anytime soon, if ever. Still had fun though.
No updates for long time.
Great potential. But full of bugs still
good gameplay and graphic but still alot of bugs
