Reviews
Review-bombing or giving negative reviews to the game’s current owners will never overshadow the brilliance of this game A video game as a means rather than an end, a work that explores politics and all its facets, in a narrative where opposites are never the solution. But it also delves into emotions and feelings—how they drive our choices, how they shape the way we see and experience the world around us, and how they influence how others perceive us. Some might call it a psychoanalysis session; it’s certainly a tool to help you understand and analyze—and analyze yourself—better Some of the most iconic characters ever written (Kim, I love you), a pure and authentic role-playing experience in every sense. Disarming narrative skill condensed into a relatively small game world. Choices interplay in ways that aren’t immediately obvious, and the decision to continue the story is entirely personal. Play. Disco. Elysium.

UN JOUR JE SERAI DE RETOUR PRÈS DE TOI! Şaheser...
definitely the best game ever,

I'm not much of a gamer, but I splashed out $15 on a sale copy of DE because I had seen so many people hype it up so hard and talk about it as though it was the communist masterpiece of the 21st century. I only logged 14.7 hours and spent most of that time stuck in areas of the map and quitting after 45 minutes due to migraines, disorientation, hand and wrist pain/fatigue and frustration. Here are some accessibility problems that I wish the devs had considered, from my own perspective as someone with chronic pain & mobility issues, chronic migraines & CTE: - The initial setup screen features a fast/variable flicker effect, so I had to go through it as quickly as possible to avoid a worse migraine, and could not carefully consider skill allocation, which affected my gameplay and understanding of the game mechanics. - The flickering effects throughout various parts of the game are a surefire instant migraine trigger. - Not being able to zoom out to see the entire map & having more map features only available as an achievable bonus makes spatial orientation in the game very difficult. - Having to manually walk characters around with no option for fast travel or teleporting causes hand & wrist fatigue very quickly, as well as spatial orientation issues. People kept telling me "it's supposed to be hard, that's the point", but I don't think it's supposed to be so hard that you can't enjoy it at all. I don't think it was supposed to take me 45 minutes to find the door out of Whirling-In-Rags. I somehow really doubt that's part of the intended experience. It's humiliating and sad to be excluded from such a wide-spanning media phenomenon just because your experiences are considered an edge case. I really wanted to like this game, but it doesn't seem like most developers are willing to do much to accommodate physical limitations, spatial orientation difficulties or photosensitivity. It's been so overhyped that I just feel bitter when I see people going on about how amazing it is. I'm sure it's a great game in many ways, but I will never be allowed to find out. Not every game is for every gamer, but when NO games are for you or anyone like you, that's a problem.
