amazing funny and fun bosses arent too easy but not overly op
Dinoblade delivers one of the most imaginative premises in the indie action RPG space by placing players in the role of a young Spinosaurus armed with a colossal sword. Rather than treating the concept as a novelty, the game fully embraces its prehistoric fantasy setting and builds a challenging adventure around it. Developed by Team Spino LLC and published by Team Spino LLC alongside Boltray Games, the title combines fast-paced combat, rewarding exploration, and a mysterious narrative into a surprisingly cohesive experience. Its world is shaped by an ancient catastrophe that has left dinosaur civilization on the edge of collapse, giving players a compelling reason to venture into dangerous lands filled with hostile creatures and powerful predators. Combat forms the foundation of the experience and consistently rewards precision over reckless aggression. Every encounter encourages players to study enemy behavior, carefully manage positioning, and make effective use of dodges, parries, and well-timed counterattacks. As the journey progresses, new combat abilities and legendary weapons become available, allowing players to refine their preferred fighting style instead of relying on repetitive attack patterns. The steady sense of progression keeps battles engaging, while increasingly formidable enemies ensure that every newly earned skill feels meaningful. The game successfully captures the satisfaction of overcoming difficult encounters through practice and mastery rather than simple character statistics. The world itself is another major highlight. Dinoblade sends players across a variety of prehistoric environments, from dense forests and rocky canyons to other untamed landscapes that feel both beautiful and dangerous. Exploration is encouraged through hidden treasures, optional paths, and valuable equipment scattered throughout the map. Every region introduces fresh environmental themes and stronger wildlife, making the world feel alive instead of serving merely as a backdrop for combat. The Alpha predators that dominate these areas function as memorable boss encounters, each demanding unique strategies and careful observation before victory can be achieved. Storytelling remains straightforward but effective. Instead of overwhelming players with lengthy dialogue, the game gradually reveals the mystery surrounding the disaster that devastated the dinosaur world. The protagonist's quest becomes one of survival, discovery, and ultimately determining the future of an endangered civilization. This approach allows exploration and combat to remain at the forefront while still giving the adventure enough emotional weight to make each major milestone feel significant. The fantasy elements blend naturally with the prehistoric setting, creating a world that feels distinct from traditional medieval action RPGs. One of the game's strongest qualities is how it encourages replayability. Challenging boss fights are designed to test everything players have learned throughout the campaign, rewarding patience and adaptability. Completing the main adventure unlocks additional challenges, including a Boss Rush mode that lets experienced players revisit the toughest encounters under more demanding conditions. Combined with multiple combat techniques, weapon upgrades, and optional discoveries, the game offers plenty of reasons to continue playing after the main story concludes. Visually, Dinoblade makes excellent use of its unique premise. The dinosaur character models are expressive and animated with convincing weight, while the oversized weapons never feel out of place within the game's fantasy setting. Environments are colorful and varied, balancing natural prehistoric beauty with mysterious locations that reinforce the game's atmosphere. Sound effects give every strike satisfying impact, and the musical score complements both quiet exploration and high-intensity battles, helping maintain immersion throughout the adventure. The game does present a few challenges that may not appeal to every player. Its emphasis on demanding, skill-based combat means newcomers to action RPGs may face a steep learning curve, particularly during boss encounters where patience and precise timing are essential. Those looking for a relaxed experience may find the difficulty intimidating, although players willing to invest time into mastering its mechanics will likely appreciate the rewarding progression. The presence of blood and violent scenes also reflects the harsher nature of its world, though the inclusion of options to reduce gore makes the experience more accessible for a wider audience. Overall, Dinoblade succeeds because it transforms an unconventional idea into a genuinely engaging action RPG. Its satisfying combat system, varied environments, rewarding exploration, memorable boss battles, and intriguing prehistoric fantasy setting combine to create an experience that stands apart from more conventional entries in the genre. The developers clearly committed to both creativity and solid gameplay fundamentals, resulting in an adventure that feels original without sacrificing depth. For players who enjoy challenging combat and imaginative world-building, Dinoblade is an impressive indie title that deserves attention. Rating: 9/10

IT'S DINOSWORDS!!! Love an original take on the soulslike genre. You will have fun you will roar :D
Absolute Peak, team Spino cooked and everybody liked it :)
Grande jogo, grande equipe!
great game, still the lag was a bit of a problem during the important fights where the enemy has many combos consisting in multiple and rapid strikes; like the last 2 big bosses
I had a blast playing this game! Truly the most dinosaur with a sword game there ever was. Felt like stepping back into ps2/3 era games with the simple but good level design with linear paths and small open spaces with just enough little hidden goodies to have you peaking around the entire map. If you think you'll enjoy this game from the trailer, you likely will! Not overly long, I cleared in a little over 7 hours. Difficulty isn't as bad as you'd think for a souls-like: strengthening resources (exp, sp) are infinite and you can refresh zones to make small-fry enemies reappear. So if a boss is giving you trouble, you can always grind a bit more to shore up your weak points. I was able to go smoothly through the whole game until the endgame portion without grinding, the difficulty scales very naturally. I hope with its relative success at launch that we may see more from the game! My only critique would be that I wish some of the zones and enemies felt more cohesive. I figure this drawback is from the small team working on this game, but having enemies matching/complementing the boss counterparts or being unique to their zones (the game does have a few as such) would help elevate the feel of territories, gangs, etc separate or related to local alpha bosses. Also the spino can swim. It's a little janky BUT I had a major burst of delight when I realized I could swim around in the few deep water features. There was a lot of love put into this game; support it and play it if you like the vibe!
honestly having a lot of fun, a few things here and there but it seems like all that is getting patched out so thumbs up
