The game doesn't inherently have any major flaws or anything, but it's just not that fun. A friend described it as "the type of ♥♥♥♥ you see people playing in movies" and that's probably the best description for this I've heard. It's not good. It's not bad. It simply exists. I would never recommend it to anyone tho

Чёт пропустил на первой соньке эту игру, хотя платформеры скупал нещадно. Глянул видос, и графон очень сильно импрувнули в сравнении с оригиналом. Геймплейно игра один в один как версия 1999 года, заметно, местами кривоватенькая, но лучше многих современных аналогов. Игра чисто бродилка слева направо с собиранием желтых аскорбинок и фруктиков. Есть неплохие боссы, но сами уровни довольно однообразные. Бесило, что после каждого уровня надо крутить слоты и никак их не скипнуть, чисто минуту сижу и тыкаю. Краш эту игру в сухую конечно уделывает, но в принципе не плохо. Написано 4 часа, но прошел за 6 на 100% (просто пару часов в оффлайне на даче гамзал на стимдеке).

Boring, tedious, and the completion requirements are infinitely more tedious. NONE of it is hard. But I would rather shoot myself in the foot than legit complete these achievements. Marathon mode is boring, the magic key is worthless by the time you get it, everything about this game is boring and tedious. Play literally anything else.

I couldn't bring myself to thumbs down this game because of childhood nostalgia, if I could leave a MID or neutral review/reaciton this would be it. Apart from the graphics which are okay at best, I think this remake is generally a worse way to experience the game, the charm is lost in many places from the wonderfully goofy original game mostly in how certain characters behave or are animated, it plays the same, bugs aren't fixed, annoyances from the original are kept and not revamped, no bonus levels etc. So really the only reason you would buy this is for the new graphics but I would argue having those Ps1 graphics and playing this on an emulator is a better experience anyway.
