dinosour, big ass swords and metal 8/10
Very likely one of the most ingenious games to ever exist. Dinosaurs are already pretty cool. Dinosaurs + swords is a fairly novel idea. Dinosaurs + swords + Edo Japan themed storyline is a novel concept I have literally not seen done anywhere else. The best part of this game is by far the animation. It is beautiful, incredibly well done, and it's enjoyable to see all the creative ways the dinosaurs use different weapons. Without further ado, I'll get into the actual review;l Pros: - It is the greatest concept to ever exist and nobody can tell me otherwise. I will die on this hill. - The gameplay is genuinely fun! - Animation frames are tight and feel fair. - Hitboxes feel accurate on 99% of the moves enemies throw out. - You are rewarded for exploration. - It's got a typical souls-like gameplay loop without needing to grab your souls every time. So even if you fail, you feel like you can grind up to get stronger consistently. - Some of the bosses are actually challenging. - The abilities are all very fun and feel useful throughout the entire game. - You don't spend a whole lot of time in each map so they never feel stale. The cons: - As someone who has completed most souls-like games, the difficulty curve is not particularly that hard. - Often I found the AI will not adapt to some simple strategies, e.g. ranged attack spam. - I noticed a bug (or maybe it's just an option?) where I could have Haku come out and stun the boss every 16 seconds. I actively had to make sure I wasn't set to use Haku and nerf myself because that in of itself ruined the fun. However, when I left it on random and Haku landed the stun, it was an exciting moment every time. - Minor nitpicks with the UI and some conveyance of abilities. 10/10. Satisfied with the game and will likely come back to play the hidden mode you unlock after completing it occasionally!

Amazing game love the combat and parrying is so good combined with the music it's well worth the money at the current price point does need some performace stuff but still good.
I know I only have 5 hours on this game, and I'm probably not very far into it, content wise. That being said, I still feel confident in saying this is definitely a purchase I am very happy with. Pros: + Movement feels pretty smooth, even if the animations can sometimes look a bit janky when playing high tempo + Graphics are great, though the engine seems not to enjoy it when fighting some of the more intensive bosses with maximum settings + Not a metal fan myself, but playing this game, I can't think of any other music to go along with it ++ This may be a Con for some players, but for me, I appreciate the simplified RPG portion of the game. Rather than having a massive, unending skill tree (which I do enjoy in certain games), it's simply putting points into four base stats, and upgrading a few core skills. It allows me to focus simply on getting better at the game itself, and memorising my opponents' attack patterns. +++ bro theres dinos with swords (and axes, and hammers, etc.) Cons: - The difference between my FPS on max graphics and min graphics is barely 10 frames, and it is barely steady around 55 FPS (at max). For a game where I need to parry and dodge, that's not exactly ideal (still playable, though!) - Some of the enemies have attacks that I have had to learn to dodge based solely on timing, and not using visual or audible effects - I'm not a Souls-like player, so maybe that's not uncommon, but it's a bit annoying for me. - The maps are nice, but I do wish they were a *bit* more open - some of them feel particularly linear in nature. Of course, personal bias, not anything objective. Conclusion: Personally, I've not had much fun playing Souls-likes before, with the small exception of playing Elden Ring occasionally. That being said, the small bit of time I've had in this game so far, is far above what I can say for a number of other games I've played through. Happy to see where development goes! Easily worth the $20!

Absolutely thrilling this was by far one of the best games I've played in a long time. Doom Vibes with a dino and a sword. Its sooo different and it was extremely rewarding. it was tough don't get me wrong but it gave me a challenge and i very much enjoyed the game. The music the scenery the dinos and the combat. The abilities actually changing as you put more into them the multiple mini boss's with again the bad @$$ music. I have beat it and have already begin another play through to try a different build to see how well that goes. i do hope we see more from this game a second game would be just as awesome as well. I hope more comes from this guy as i followed from when it was just a meme on Reddit and short development clips on tiktok. Absolutely amazing game i would give it a 4.5 out of 5 easy. This game deserves to be awarded and the developer of the game fully reconized. This was absolutely amazing.
