About
Something’s not right in DinerTown™! Help Bernie the Bookworm become a "real detective" as you hunt for vital clues in major mysteries like "who stuck their finger in all the jelly donuts?" and "who’s been partying like a rock star with the zoo animals?" And while you’re tackling those head-scratchers, you may even uncover a "real" mystery that affects everyone in DinerTown. Use the items you find in the crime scenes to narrow your list of suspects and ID the culprits as you search out the fun in this lighthearted spoof on traditional Hidden Object games.

This hidden object game looks like clipart literally threw up, different styles of drawings mixed in as if thrown together in a mix mash. Some items are photos for example and others are like drawn cartoons with no rhyme or reason. Worst part of the game is the game itself. Often items will be stuck behind items maybe showing like one pixel of the actual hidden object. Playfirst makes alot of great puzzle games from NIghtshift to Valerie Porter which would be better suggestions to get your puzzle finding fix. Rating: 0/10 Value: $0.00
Cannot play this game- tried it on three different computers and it fails to load every time.
It is a great game - in fact, one of only few 'hidden objects' casual games I was able to play :) But then I am a big fan of DinerTown adventures like 'Avenue Flo'. And here we not only meet Flo herself and all her friends, but we actually play as Bernie, one of the most memorable DinerTown characters, who tries to be a detective. And that means - not only just plain hidden-objects-searching, but quite a lot of other diverse puzzles as well! The only drawback of this game is that unfortunately PlayFirst has abandoned PC market for several years already and they are no longer with us to support their great games. Which means - no trading cards, no achievements, no Steam sales, no updates - and many negative reviews from people who couldn't launch the game for some reason. And I have to add that I had no trouble launching and running it with all the videos on my rather new PC.
does not work and no refunds from STEAM or assistance to get it working
the game still works in 2026 but with 2 settings to adjust: · right-click properties -> compatibility -> windows 95 or windows 98/me · right-click properties -> compatibility -> reduced color mode -> 8-bit i've played the diner dash series as a kid because my mother was obsessed with it but i didn't know flo had a friend called bernie the bookworm (sorry lex the bookworm seems like flo doesn't know you...) and this game is surprisingly good for its time! i was in a slump for early 2000s hidden object games with cozy detective vibes and this game delivered it! i'm especially fond of the last part of each investigation which is listening to the suspects' friends and deducing who the actual culprit is. all in all, the game works well in this era with some minor tweaks and please don't press any keys while playing as it automatically closes the game...
Game keeps crashing no good at all.
Might be ok if it didn't crash every time I try to open it.
Doesnt work. Just crashes out so pointless pointless pointless
