the games good. the puzzlers are definitely way harder than doors or rooms, the game does remind you of this when you start. despite how much time you spend on puzzles, the overall story is relatively short. but the game wraps up nicely. the puzzles were challenging but fun, felt very satisfying figuring them out.
Yay, loved it! Long awaited since playing the demo a while ago. Apart from one puzzle I found frustrating and had to look at the hints for (yet even that part was not bad by any means, I was just confused), everything else was awesome, and generally very sensible. No insane moon logic escape room puzzles here. Great variety of different areas, types of puzzles, and general gameplay as well. It's definitely challenging, but not so hard that it becomes boring. Aesthetically this game is beautiful. It's really unique, with like a pixely ps1 crunch to all the textures, but more modern lighting. That, and the retro camera used to record photos can make things a bit hard to read or see once in a while, but it's worth it. I actually like how the game can keep certain posters and text pixelated but others crisp to let you know what you should be paying attention to, and what is just background texture. Favorite bit:
retro zadbox Quern!
Excellent game, I wish there were more like it. The puzzles were unique and fun to solve. They were challenging, and didn't hand-hold. The scenery and story were also amazing. There was so much detail in the game, I was having fun just walking around and interacting with the world.
Great game good fun
I was consistently shown how dumb I am....9/10
Great puzzle game. tough but fair. lots of good quality of life additions Camera, the ability to take notes on photos make doing the puzzles much more manageable. For the developer- I think you should reconsider the listening puzzle for the chair. It felt out of place from the rest of the game to me. no technical issues
I enjoyed this game for the most part. It's scenery was interesting, and the puzzles were usually very clever. Unfortunately, some of the puzzles were complete nonsense. The last puzzle, for example. How were you supposed to get the exact numbers to match up the pictures with the wax cylinders? How were we supposed to know the value was 3.8 instead of 3.7? or 3 instead of 2.9? They look almost the same!! Ridiculous puzzles like these were commonplace. The game would really have benefited from more playtesters to try the puzzles, assuming there weren't any. The graphics were pretty jarring. Everything is super pixelated up close and looks good from a distance, which doesn't really fit the game in my opinion. Unfortunately, this game does not live up to Quern at all. However I would still recommend it as a decent myst-like puzzle game
I went into this game fully aware that a fair chunk of the game had been cut short due to lack of funding/cut short dev times, and that is a shame that I am sad about, because the potential for this game is so cool! That said, the more modest game that they managed to stitch together from, well, what seems to have been the beginning and ending of the original game, is still a very competent and interesting puzzle game, and I enjoyed it quite a lot! Deffo worth playing if you like hard puzzles - just don't expect too long of a game as it is now.
Very enjoyable mystery with puzzles. Don't epect high-end character animations, but the pixelated style is very nice. I could solve majority of puzzles without needing the hints. For a few I did use them, to confirm my hunch. I looked up one on the internet, but when I saw the answer it was actually quite logical and I should have just been a bit more patient and think harder. ;-) So good game overall!
I didn't like the game, first puzzles were fun, later puzzles made me angry even after solving them
