This game is a masterpiece. Works perfectly on Steam Deck. I've played a lot of Digimon games, and I gotta say, this is the best Digimon RPG ever released. A lot of care and effort was put into this game, and it shows. This is one of the few linear JRPGs that I could actually play over and over and continue enjoying thanks to new game + and how beautiful the whole game is, from the visuals and writing to the entirety of its audio to how much better the gameplay and stat systems are than they were in Cyber Sleuth. It's clear that the devs respect their audience more than the devs of certain other monster-collector type games. I'm going to be playing Time Stranger for years to come. It's a little irritating that I paid for Ultimate edition and still didn't have all the DLC, but to anyone reading this, just buy it all. I normally would never spend this much on a single game, but Time Stranger is worth it. I would keep glazing this game for hours but I gotta go to work eventually

I bought the game cause I was feeling nostalgic and I just got a job that pays decently well. My last digimon game experience is Digimon World 3 and I played it about 30 minutes at a afternoon clubs last hour with the ps1 they had when I was like 8 years old. One before that was digimon world 1 at my cousins house. I always remember from the Tv show wich was the last I think that they showd in my country was when BlackWarGraymon was thing with the black towers and rings and so. And I found the first 2 issues of the comic books that had Growlmon and Renamon first time. If you are thinking between this and the newer pokemon games get this. Story is good, main characters are good and the sound track is one of the better once I've heard in games that I have played in recent years. Really good game to get if you wanna no what Digimon games are these days. Enjoyed every bit of it.

Game looks good but feels old Good graphics but the gameplay is nothing new I agree that Digimon games should be a lot like this but there are no innovations I want a system that gets me attached and invested in a specific digimon much like the series do Digimon is a long running franchise which is why there should be new digimons, new digivolutions, and mechanics
Very good game, but only play it if you enjoy JRPGs. Go into it expecting something more like **Shin Megami Tensei** than Pokémon or a typical monster-catching game. If you set your expectations that way, you'll enjoy the game a lot more. 8/10
