Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Aug 30 → 5.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Ts is pretty addictive. -Great trailer music, made me spend $4 -Explosions were tuff, kept me playing -took way too ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ long to get star drill at the very end -short & sweet 4 hr fun 7/10

Oh my god, no! This is one of the most repetitive incrementals I've ever played, and that's before we get to the ridiculous last achievement. This is pain. Dig down the middle, run out of fuel... repeat.... repeat... repeat... repeat... repeat. Is this review boring yet? repeat...repeat...repeat... REPEAT REPEAT REPEAT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ REPEAT! There's no game here, just move your mouse to the bottom of the screen, click now and then for a mostly unresponsive ability that doesn't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ matter REPEAT AGAIN, KEEP REPEATING, OH MY GOD, REPEAT... The last achievement, requires you to repeat a level roughly 80-100 times. That's after you beat the game. That's just to mine enough blocks for the achievement. It takes so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ long, it's just so boring. A tip I found on the forums was to repeat the first level, instead of the last, something I was already doing. -_- You get upgrades on the skill tree that don't make a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dent, because you have to keep upping the "density" which makes all the blocks cost more fuel. More fuel cost, guess I need to upgrade the fuel, again.... and again and.. you get the idea. I'm repeating the level over and over while I type this review. Because you don't need to pay attention to the game. Usually I finish these incrementals in one sitting. I had to take multiple breaks with this one because I was so damn bored. You will hit a wall for ages till you find that one upgrade in a random location in the skill tree that actually makes any difference, then you turn the density up again because you have to... and you'll hit another wall. That's the game. Watch the trailer, did you watch it? Okay, you've seen the entire game. That's it. There's nothing else here. The game is so repetitive. You're going to be doing the same stuff over and over again. It's not fun... and this ♥♥♥♥ costs money! You're really going to spend money on this? Why would you do that? Why the hell did I do that?! I watched tv while I played this. Mostly Stargate. I completely ignored the game for majority of the 4+ hours I spent on this. If I was not able to do that, I would've given up on it and uninstalled it. I'm stupid and want to get achievements. Even though they don't do a damn thing. Just like this game, it wasn't worth playing for the game. If you're not after another perfect game, don't play it... And like I said, that last achievement. Oh my god it's so boring. Just keep repeating the first level. This game stressed me out. Finally, the game is a mess. There's an upgrade called Fever, it makes your screen blurry as hell, it puts a pink banner around you... NO WHERE does it tell you what this does. I looked on the forums, nobody seems to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ know. What the ♥♥♥♥ is this? Doug's drill is called Simone! Thanks loading screen tip, maybe TELL ME SOMETHING ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ USEFUL FOR A CHANGE, YEAH?! STICK SIMONE UP YOUR ARSE, DEVELOPER! There's also a few skills on the tree that reset if you close the game... or complete the game... and you need to buy them anew. Just annoying. Probably a bug. Total wank. This is dire. Just so damn dire. So buy one of these games instead: https://store.steampowered.com/app/252410/SteamWorld_Dig/ Same price, very good game, WAY more gameplay, better story too. https://store.steampowered.com/app/571310/SteamWorld_Dig_2/ Double the cost of this game. But you can get it in a bundle with the above game. It's the sequel, you don't have to play the first if you just want to play this. Overwhelmingly positive on steam and for damn good reason. https://store.steampowered.com/app/269110/Super_Motherload/ One of the original PC diggy games. Dig your way through mars, find all sorts of ores, get upgrades, etcetera. It hasn't aged so well in my opinion. This used to be a flash game. I loved it when I was younger. It's a part of what popularised the genre. All of these games are LEAGUES better than this game. And sure, you might argue that they're a different genre.... but hey, treat yourself. It's better than buying this ♥♥♥♥. Thanks for reading, or skipping to the end. Whether or not you agree with me, have a lovely day. Unless you're the developer... don't have a lovely day... you wasted mine with your damn last achievement, so I hope your day is wasted too.
纯粹的数值体验,纯粹的超高密度指数级反馈,纯粹的无脑与放松!极致的设计,优雅!
Good fun for a couple hours. Unfortunately you become TOO strong at the end and it becomes really difficult to complete some of the acheivements when you're falling down very quickly.
The game peaks within the first half hour or so, but the gameplay stays repetitive from start to finish. Player input becomes almost irrelevant early on, turning the whole experience into a “start a run and wait” simulator. Clearing the game just means launching the same run about a hundred times—a passive loop that ends up feeling like a grind. There are also some under-tested elements, like achievements that can only be unlocked in the early game and performance drops when moving outside the intended play area.
Neither here nor there: Diggin
After the double whammy of Far Cry 5 and Detroit: Become Human, I needed a bit of a palate cleanser, something short and sweet before I sink my teeth into ZERO PARADES. Browsing through the Activity page, I saw a friend wishlisted Diggin and figured "Hey, I never tried those incremental games, and this one isn't that expensive, so why not give it a go?" In Diggin you (very appropriately) play as a mole trying to dig his way into a meteor crater. Legend has it that the meteor crash site was once the location of a fabled city of star-nosed moles, and it's up to our protagonist and his trusty drill to plumb these depths in search for resources, treasures, and relics of this lost civilization. Granted, this is my first foray into incremental/idle games, but from what I understand, Diggin is a solid representative of both the pros and cons of the genre. On the plus side, the gameplay loop is really simple to get into and fairly satisfying. As you dig, you collect resources, use them to unlock upgrades which allow you to dig even deeper, and eventually move on to greater soil densities (difficulty levels) for exponentially larger rewards. Couple this with the relatively short runs (about one minute max), and you get a really strong feeling of "just one more dig". It also helps that the abilities are varied and interesting enough to actually make you want to grind the resources to unlock them. That being said, there's a lot of grinding going on, to the point that, by the late game, we're talking billions of units of a single resource for just one upgrade. Granted, the upgrade cost generally keeps pace with the rewards as you move to higher difficulty levels, but there are still abilities that will require dozens of runs to grind out. There's also the fact that it's pretty unclear how fast the fuel for your drill will drain on any given level. Not that it impacts the gameplay all that much, since you can use certain artifacts and abilities to mitigate fuel drain. Even so, I noticed that, unless I kept spamming the Overdrive ability, all the fuel would just disappear seeming at random as soon as I got to a slightly deeper layer of rocks. All told, the upgrade tree was actually a lot sparser than I expected. It took me about 8 hours of leisurely play to unlock all abilities. This normally wouldn't be that much of a problem if the game had any replay value at all. The way it's set up now, once you've unlocked everything, you've pretty much seen all there is to see. This lack of replay value might get patched at a certain point, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Ultimately, Diggin is a pretty solid way to kill about 6 to 8 hours, preferably while you're listening to a podcast or YouTube video. I'm sure it will be on discount soon, but if you're impatient, even at full price it's still a decent choice.
