Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 23.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I’m about 60% through the game now, and I feel like I’ve played enough to give it a fair review. First of all, the presentation is excellent and very much to my taste. Cute pixel art and some tunes reminiscent of nintendo. NPCs are also charming. To the cons - I’ll start with some minor issues that should be easy to fix and would make a noticeable difference: Wall jumping: it should have coyote time, where being a couple pixels away from the wall still allows the player to wall-jump in the other direction Enemy HP: lessen the HP of some of the smaller critters Boss hit feedback: Bosses could use significantly stronger feedback when they are hit, particularly in the audio department. Dash: The dash currently doesn’t feel as fluid as it could. I would consider refreshing the dash whenever the player lands on the ground after a jump, even if the dash timer hasn’t fully recovered yet. This would prevent repeated mid-air dashes while making movement more fluid. There are also some broader design issues that are probably unfixable at this point, but I wanted to mention them nonetheless. Power-up synergy: The different power-ups don’t always complement each other particularly well. For example, the dash can makes shooting downward redundant. If the dash would be purely horizontal, chaining the moves would be much more interesting. Boss design: The bosses don’t seem to make a strong use of the player’s moveset, and their attacks can sometimes feel somewhat arbitrary. It doesn't feel like a game of chess like in other metroidvanias, where if boss uses pattern x, the player has to avoid using y. It mostly comes down to dashing all over the place and hoping for the best. Maybe it comes down to the dash being too overpowered.

this really suprised me. I came in having watched every single update on this game. While i was hoping it would be good but i was worried it would dissapoint but man was I wrong. I am about 33 percent into the game and I cannot wait to play the rest. the vibe of the game paired with the amazing sountrack make you want to sit and chill for hours. The mechanics are better than i suspected. Nothing feels janked or wrong and iit is so nice and smooth when doing hard challenges. While some enemies are annoying I love how much variety there is. The bosses are all fun a different. It is better than i ever imagined and I cant wait to keep playing it.
really good game, you will generally like it if have already enjoyed games like hollow knight,
Dewdrop Dynasty is a bad metroidvania. Exploration in this game is genuinely uninteresting and meaningless. The areas are just a bunch of empty, badly designed rooms scattered with tanky enemies and occasional "rewards". Even though this game has decent music and interesting ideas scattered throughout, the core game loop isn't fun to play, which makes for a really mediocre experience.
I'm not a hardcore Metroidvania player. The harder ones like Hollow Knight were never for me. I picked this up anyway because I've followed the dev's YouTube devlogs for ages, and the drop from 21.50€ to 8.55€ made it easy to say yes. The art style and animations are fantastic, easily the best part of the game, and you can tell a lot of love went into them. What didn't work for me: the map is huge but feels empty. You keep running into small dead ends where you'd expect a secret or a reward, and there's just nothing there. With no fast travel, most of the playtime is spent walking and searching. Barely any secrets at all, which is usually my favourite part of the genre. Progression also feels linear despite it being a Metroidvania. A to B, get item X, unlock area Y. There's no real alternative route to the ending, but maybe I'm not far enough with my progress yet. Combat was where it lost me. Enemy health bars are absurdly long across the board, a tiny critter and a mid-sized brute both take a comically long time to go down. And since you're stuck with the same starter pistol from the first minute, there hasen't been that moment yet where you notice you've gotten stronger. Boss fights turn into endurance tests: dodge the same few patterns, keep firing, wait for the bar to empty. Achievements are sparse and not very interesting, though the dev appears to be adding more which is a good sign.
Great little gem.
Ponad 3 lata czekania i otrzymuje totalną tragedię zamiast gry.
This is a great game! Now, perhaps y'all would like me to explain why: 1. Enemies are very enjoyable, and so are the boss fights. - I really enjoyed how strategic I had to be about fighting the enemies and bosses. - A ton of different types of enemies too! 2. Platforming is really enjoyable. - Once you get the hang of the gun-jumping the platforming feels so good! - It appears to use a mario jumping style, so you have a lot of control over your jumps 3. The visuals are great. - Tons of particle effects. - They did a great job with the tilesets as well! This game is just full of fun puzzles. Almost everything is a puzzle xD Anyways, great game!
