About
Devil Spire Falls is a procedurally generated, open-world, hardcore action-RPG built around dynamic and interconnected systems and mechanics.
Create your own unique character and delve into this dark fantasy world where the actions of heroes past caused the first Devil Spire to fall, and spread an accursed fog throughout the land... And the monsters that lurked within.
Explore the overworld, conquer dungeons, become the town hero, raze every village to the ground, hunt monsters, slay bosses, slaughter bandits or nomad camps, kill that merchant, run away, build your own home, gather your party, go on quests, farm, fish, mine, hunt, tame... The possibilities are endless!
In this world where nothing is predetermined... Everything is permitted. No character is so important it can't be killed. No dungeon is made to be an easy or even fair challenge. No obstacle can't be smartly circumvented or brute-forced through. You will enter a world of its own, unconcerned with your well-being, and unprotected against your machinations! And of course, your choices are permanent, and they matter.
Fully customizeable character creation, including facial features, with several Races, Classes and Origins, backed by a deep, real RPG system with 7 attributes, skills, perks, equipment, magic and more!
18 unique weapon classes with their own special properties! From swords to flails, from bows to muskets, and from throwing knifes to javelins. You're sure to find one that suits your tastes! Or just use your own fists and feet!
35 Skills with 9 Perks each! Unlock special attacks, acquire new actions, get rid of limiters, learn how to craft mighty weapons, build your own house, double-jump, or simply unlock a door and disarm traps, etc. With enough training, your powers will know no limits!
Create your own spells with over 100 effects, from buffing to burning, invisibility to telekinesis, shrinking to transforming... There's enough magicks to fill an entire library with arcane grimoires!
A deep combat system with several unique attacks, blocking and parrying, dodges, kicks, and much more. You must use every tool at your disposal to outmaneuver your enemies, conserve your stamina, leave them stunned and confused, and emerge victorious!
Physics and environmental shenanigans: Throw items at enemies, kick them off cliffs, build your own bridges and stairs, sneak past them while snuffing out lights, use the traps and whatever else is around you to come out on top!
Climb anything, swim to the deepest depths, leap over mountains, fly above the clouds, tame and ride a horse... or learn how to run faster than them. There are many ways to traverse this vast world, and reach every room in the treacherous dungeons. Just how many secrets lie in the far reaches of the world, or behind a secret wall?
In-depth NPC interaction system: Trade items, chit-chat, join factions, do quests, get trained, ask for information, recruit them to your party... not to mention all the interactions outside civil conversation like pick-pocketing, murder, induced coma, and other accidents!
An endless amount of items, activities, interactables and things to build or destroy, all interlinked and working with each other! Build your own base, grow your own crops, gather, mine and fish, or just destroy anything that stands in your path. The choice is yours!
While you have the freedom to do whatever it is you desire... The Urge to conquer a newly risen Devil Spire does not leave your mind. Will you repeat the errors of the past, discover the truths behind the massive towers, or simply take their power as your own? You now have the entire world to explore, conquer, and scour for answers!

This game is awesome, The developer Ithiro has done an awesome job on the gameplay decisions and world design. I really like the art style this has potential to be an extremely good old school action rpg as it's gradually fleshed out. In my first week of playing there was 2 content updates adding npc cows and milk as well as the spider version of centaurs. I really enjoy the npc system and magic system. I recommend this game to anyone who wants something that is both refreshing and a blast from the past. Keep an eye out for mod support in the future as there is a lot of potential there once the developer has accomplished his vision and less likely to have large sweeping changes. Make sure to vote on content updates and direction in the discord :)
Best rpg I've personally ever played, hooked since my very first character. Suprisingly replayable and runs well on potatoes (with some rare/tolerable exceptions). Looking forward to future updates!!

I was able to uppercut a Wolf 50 feet into the air, superjump up too it, uppercut it again even further into the air, double jump to stay in the air, and then do a downward slam to rocket it into the ground with the force of a Tomahawk missile. 10/10 gaming experience, the game has so much charm and thought and love put into it. You cannot go wrong with it. And for only 15$ too. Absurd value. Buy it.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game really is something, imagine Daggerfall with an actual functioning open world in true sandbox style and deep crafting systems. I'd say even the spellcrafting in this game puts Morrowind to shame. The freedom this game gives you is immense. I can play as an actual wild goblin in an uncivilized way. This may be the single best high fantasy life sim out there.
Amazing game and its still in early access, cant wait to see it how fat itll go!
Very hard to get the game but the potentials are there.
I really enjoyed a chaotic run with the goblin as my first class. It was easy to snowball into a powerful build quickly, and it was incredibly fun despite not running into the 'underworld' figures that it mentioned in the goblin's description. I don't know how to raze a village yet, but I'll experiment and figure it out eventually 'if' it is possible like it mentions when it does the tutorial for settlements. Another issue with goblins that'd be a small fix, is that when they fast travel they get stopped by monsters despite them being neutral to them 'EVERYWHERE' else. I don't mind running a slime's fade, but it stopping me so often when its not even an Abomination gets mad annoying fast. Just have 'humans' be what stops me instead as a goblin/creature. Other than that, again, running into things you can actually interact with as a goblin is difficult. I'm unsure if I needed another type of helmet, but equipping a mask and covering my body head/toe DID NOT 'hide my nature' like the mask description claimed. Again it can be the type of helmet too, but I'm unsure of what helmet doesnt have my ears poke out. Maybe I'm taking it too literal? The REAL gripe: Playing as a human character, I ran into the same issues other negative reviews had in the 'delivery' quests. I was given a letter to give to someone, who I didn't question at the time was located within a dungeon because I thought maybe it was an adventurer or a thief within one. Nope. It was a demon. I double-triple-quadruple checked that this was indeed the person I was supposed to bring it to and it was. Attempting to do what the dev mentioned in another post and k.o the demon to put it into his inventory was 'lack luster' as the only method I know of early on to k.o is punching someone's lights out. I used a mace to knock him down low, and for 5 minutes I was punching this guy just for him to get lucky in casting spells and launch a shotgun burst of fireballs that killed me *instantly*. On paper, I was okay with trying to simply deliver the letter to a demon. It was funny. In practice, holy heck dude, that was straight up annoying. Just make it so I can report back to the sender that its a monster if you aren't going to exclude monsters from the delivery lineup? These are beginning-of-the-game quests. I had a blast at the start being a violent creature more than a human, but it falls apart once I start actually doing quests or attempting to do things outside of gobbo activities, and its lonely as heck being an overpowered booger that can't even enslave the people who surrender to her or talk to monsters. I absolutely LOVE the amount of equipment, rings, effects that they let you use. I'll put more time in and see where I'm going wrong, but for now I would recommend letting the dev season this or trying the demo to see for yourself.
If King's Field and Daggerfall had a baby with some Morrowind sound effects sprinkled in.
