Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 9 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
DEVIL BLADE REBOOT
Devil Blade, a 1996 indie shmup released only in Japan,
has received a full remake almost a quarter century later by the original creator,
taking advantage of the latest technology.
Dive into an immersive pseudo-3D experience that pushes the limits of pixel art.
With a perfect fusion of background music and evolving stage design,
you can experience a feeling only possible in a SHMUP!
Devil Blade Reboot is presented in a seamless and cohesive package,
for the first time in English!
Simply "dodge, shoot, and destroy" without any extra baggage.
Devil Blade Reboot strictly follows a strict design concept that pursues
catharsis of shmups to the extreme.
But, as they say... no pain, no gain! If you want to enhance your score,
you will have to shoot down enemies in close proximity. The closer they are,
the higher the score multiplier. With the Berserk System,
dangerous play is the way to climb the ladder, as high risk brings high reward.
【2D pixel art graphics with an obsessive level of detail.】
Rendered in the original native 320x240 resolution of the classics,
but with visuals that defy the limits of pixel art! Experience immersive pseudo-3D,
making use of modern techniques such as multiple parallax scrolling and zoom effects.
【Berserk System】
The closer you let them get, the higher your score will climb!
Dramatically increase the score... and the difficulty, by destroying enemies in close range!
The difficulty level changes drastically depending on the way you play the game.
From beginners who just want to clear the game,
to advanced players chasing the highest score possible,
Devil Blade Reboot is designed to be enjoyed by anyone interested in the genre.
【Retro and Reboot Mode】
While the enhancements of Reboot are visually stunning,
some may want to look back in history to see the origins of Devil Blade. We have you covered.
Included is an Arrange mode of the original "Devil Blade" created in Dezaemon+ in 1996
with the Berserk system added but the original atmosphere preserved.

holy #%@& thats good
oh my...
Where this game really shines is the scoring system. It feels very fast and fluid to carve through stages while not being overly punishing, so I think its both a good introductory shmup for beginners and there's something there for players that are a bit more experienced, too. The presentation of the game is even cooler than the trailer suggests so it won't disappoint in that regard.

mesmerizing
Gorgeous and fun.
One of the best shmups I've ever played. Feels like I found my favorite rock album all over again!!
enorme je nai pas dautre mot a dire en tant que fan de shoot old school la vous etes servi le meilleur que j'ai pu jouer
Easily one of the best shmups for someone new to the genre. Difficulty modes ramp up nicely, scoring system doesn't take a steam guide to comprehend, lots of stuff to unlock, UI hints on enemy spawns to mitigate memorization. Incredible set pieces and music. Stage 4 is one of my favorite shmup stages period.
Gave this game a proper try after got it for free from one of my friend a while ago and i must say, its really awesome! everything about it's just very impressive and oozes cool stuff from its designs, the music and other things :D i'm genuinely so impressed with this game, definitely going to come back to play this again for sure ^_^ 9.8/10 ♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome as hell :3
A pulse-pounding shoot-'em-up (or STG, whichever you prefer) where scoring is primarily based around point-blanking enemies as much as possible to keep up your score multiplier. Shigatake's experience working as an artist at Vanillaware is apparent from the first moment you enter gameplay, as the pixel art is genuinely jaw-dropping throughout each stage. Coupled with an absolutely stand-out soundtrack by hasu, as well as various difficulty modes to accomodate people of all skill levels, this game is probably one of my favorite shmups in recent memory. Huge kudos for an amazing game, and I'm eagerly awaiting whatever comes next, STG or otherwise!
