You play Adam Jensen, an ex-SWAT specialist who's been handpicked to oversee the defensive needs of one of America's most experimental biotechnology firms. When a black ops team breaks in and kills the very scientists you were hired to protect, everything you thought you knew about your job changes.

Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
One of the best reboots ever made. A tad little bit dated in 2026, but worth it.
Great game, especially the story, characters, and voice acting. In 2026, the graphics are a little outdated. The biggest flaw is the almost completely unplayable, small GUI on a 4K TV. I tried many tweaks, but nothing helped, so I installed it on the Steam Deck, and it worked great.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.89/day in the week to Aug 4 → 4.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

TL;DR: Metal Gear meets The Matrix in a Y2K-envisioned future where the big biotech companies are selling cyborg augmentations to the masses. Decent action-stealth gameplay with cover shooting. Good with flaws, so I can't give it a general recommend. Try it out if you like Metal Gear or just the aesthetic. I'll first say the coolest thing about Deus Ex to me is the aesthetic and setting. As mentioned above, this is the type of idealized future we thought we had coming in the 90's and the 2000's. Amber holographic curved computer monitors. Lots of melodious beeps and boops with a HUD that's an actual overlay on someone's vision like augmented reality. Feminine AI voices saying "Access granted" and people in ridiculous futuristic fashion choices like neck ruffles and skintight bodysuits. Hacking being trumpeted as one of the most impressive jobs, all served with tons of technobabble and a soundtrack full of frutiger-aeroish corporate synths and drum and bass. If you grew in the 90's and 2000's, you'll realize this as something that was tried in some cartoons, animes (like Evangelion), and older video games, but Deus Ex: Human Revolution executes it pretty well. Companies in the America of Deus Ex are at the forefront of producing technology that changes the world and promises human flourishing, yet there's tons of hobos in the streets, crime, and lots of disastrous geopolitical events occurring (you can read about them in game on e-books and holographic newspapers!). This is a pretty accurate depiction of what modern America is heading towards, but we're missing out on the widely available cool cyborg stuff at the time of writing this review. The MC is head of security at one of these big biotech companies, and you'll get roped into a convoluted string of events which will change the fate of the world. I'll leave that vague. The story has its good moments. At its best, you'll be at a turning point, trying to persuade other characters to do something important to the fate of the world, and it will feel tense and very cool. At it's worst, you realize these conversations do nothing to influence the overall ending or trajectory of the story in any significant way. It's quite a mixed bag. There's stuff they really do right like the persuasion system, but they they miss a lay-up like persuading or not persuading someone are two different doors to the same ending or plot line. It's an antithesis of games that claim to have choices that matter. Additional praise and attention must be given to the voice acting. The MC, Adam Jensen, is so cool. He never loses his cool. He is the very definition of cool. Other than the MC, a large chunk of the voice acting cast is surprisingly just the same cast as the PBS show Arthur for some reason? This was a massive flashbang to me. Freaking Mr. Ratburn is talking about how augmentation technology is necessary for human evolution, and Arthur's dad is arguing against him, saying that biotech companies are corrupt and greedy, trying to make people dependent upon them. Later you'll randomly see Francine's voice actor in the street screaming at the police. It made me laugh my ass off. Please play this game if you watched Arthur on PBS; it's so worth it. For a long-winded list of complaints about this game, hbomberguy actually made a really good video about this on YouTube that I mostly agree with but, mine are that this game gets long in the tooth; you are infiltrating grey factories and warehouses the entire game with very few mechanics introduced past the first couple areas. It got old and boring 20 hours in and I had to push myself to finish the game. Levelling up and progression is where playstyles start to diverge, and this is my next complaint. You get choice paralysis on what you should upgrade because there's so many choices with very little information to judge what is a good choice for you at any given moment. Lastly, I'll mention the ending. The ending is not a result of the all of the choices you made leading up to it -- it's just a choice of which button do you press. Then you see an abstract cutscene and it's over like that. For how much work was put into this game, it feels like the ending was an afterthought. Not everyone will like this game, and I was tempted to put it down due to it getting boring later on, but Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a generally well-done action stealth game with gunplay that feels much better than metal gear games, gives you several ways to solve any problem, and has a super cool cyborg hacker vibe. Not for everyone, but as stated above, try it out if you like Metal Gear, or even Cyberpunk 2077.

I keep coming back to this game for a few reasons. Ahead of its time both in the gameplay but also the reality it predicts. Elon has many times stated this game was an inspiration for the technology he is creating; and so this game truly has a place in the human collective consciousness in creating what's about to be real world scaled technology. Corporations, governments and populations all caught up in the messy power plays of accelerated advancement that threatens to re write society and power structures globally. I am still to play the original game but This and the follow up game Mankind Divided do a perfect job of providing a HD and beautiful world that is now peaking over our own horizon. Dialog is quality, the story is coherent. I only wish the game was bigger, although they went for the handcrafted smaller production which worked perfectly. The music is also perfect, with some if it the ethereal orchestral sound similar to the movie 'The island' 10/10.
Yarı açık dünya, gizlilik ve skill odaklı bir oyun. Dishonored oynayıp sevenler, komplo teorileri etrafında dönen güzel bir oyun oynamak isterlerse bunu da seveceklerdir.
Its good, but the bosses exist. Theyre a bit of a bummer almost none of them have stealth elims that dont involve hacking so non hacker stealth players have to ditch stealth and just spam typhoon.
De Sex?
Я наверное прошёл большую часть игры, но надоело играть, хоть ещё и можно что-то прокачать. Выглядит страшненько,
I never expected to come to this game, but the wheel rules. Game wise? Very fun, action packed, great prequel to the OG deus ex. I like the fact there's technically decisions and side-quests influence dialogue/decisions/parts of the story, it's nice details, nothing extremly major, but you get more rewards as well and such. Now...Achievement wise is very...dependent. If you wanna do it all in one run? Spam that save button like a mofo. Im just wondering, who's brilliant idea it was to put CAMERAS on Barrett's fight, seriously. I died plenty there cause you know, foxiest requires no alarms, thus no cameras can go red, and i had to restart plenty, until i found the place to turn them off, and even then, foxiest can be voided by a grenade hitting a camera sometimes. Plus you still have to take down mr.spammer... Anyway, i had fun, if i wasn't an achievement hunter and i did multiple runs i probably would've enjoyed it even more (Dispite the plenty of missables...) Overall a good game from the time, probably get it for cheap and give it a try. 7.5/10
