it good
This is a good rpg, but not a good sequel to deus ex. They should've just called it something else entirely because it's not trying to be like the original and should be treated as a standalone, in that regard, it's a solid B+ game. The story and atmosphere is nice, gameplay is fine. It does feel like you have to be a vent crawler knockout king or you're not playing the game the right way. I liked that there was some unmarked quests and things you picked up on from reading and listening instead of just quest markers. Can be a little slow in the free-roaming sections, and why can my augmented security lord who can jump off a skyscraper and knockout 6 people in the blink of an eye, only sprint for a whole 2 seconds.
The real Deus Ex was the friends we made along the way
That was really cool. Graphically it holds up, the systems are intuitive and the gameplay is fun. I enjoyed the setting, characters and overall story arc. There are hub areas where you can do side quests before the next story milestone takes you to the next area, there are different abilities that suit tank, stealth or hybrid playstyles, as well as augmenting your character there are weapons that can be upgraded with parts that can be found purchased or awarded from side quests.
