A fun little mystery with great art and music. While short I'd still recommend it, and hopefully we'll get more one day.

OMG! What a short and cozy visual novel! It contain Agatha Christy and Alfred Hitchcock vibes and allusions+Ace attorney spirit and music vibes+PC-98 visual novel vibes+ and Snatcher nostalgy! I like it! And through all game i thinking about - Man, this game needs for to be perfect just one little thing - it's frame like in pc-98 visual novels!!!!
The character design / sprite animation was killer. The art team knocked it out of the park. The music is well executed as well. I don’t think the story quite reaches the high highs you might want it to, but it’s never boring during the brisk runtime. I hope the team gets to make more games like this. They have the chops. Played on Steam Deck. It was a great way to play.
Loved this little visual novel! It's a pretty light mystery but very enjoyable throughout. I finished it in about 7 hours, which sounds short but to me the length felt perfectly fine. The writing and characters were solid throughout! While the Detective unnerved me at first, I came to grow on him and his story role. I absolutely enjoyed the main girl Emma, and I adored all the side characters who felt as kooky as an Ace Attourney game! I appreciated a lot how the story was an evolving mystery, with each day having different goals and twists. Even if it's essentially 1 mystery, that single mystery had a lot of elements to unpack which made it feel bigger than it seems. Music was lovely, and the style of classical used in many songs is extremely my jam! Emma's theme is wonderful and the clear standout, but I love how the style feels appropriate without dipping into other mystery cliche genres. The art and presentation felt great too. Sprites looked great, animations were good, loved Emma's side sprites, and the colors were wonderful too. The UI was a bit weird with how I think each Talk pathway would kick you to the main menu, but overall the UI felt fine. I especially liked how smooth bringing up the conversation history is in the UI! If you're on the fence for this VN because it seems small, then I'd say please jump in. It's a very enjoyable experience that absolutely felt worth the price to me.
An absolute must play for every Mystery game fans. This game got me hooked since I've first seen it on social media and I couldn't wait to finally play it. I'm really glad I did because this story was incredibly fun. The tutorial is a bit over the top but once the story on the train started it got me hooked immediately. I love the presentation and music and especially love the characters. Emma is such a sweetheart that is way too good for this world and needs to be protected at all costs from here on. Just let yourself go and enjoy this ride is 4-6 hours long and it breezes by and it will leave you feeling very emotional at the end
This was a pretty alright game. Has a lot of charm in its art direction and I liked the music. I think the characters were also pretty entertaining in their writing and how it carried their voice, though I wouldn't really call them deep to be honest. And the setting was interesting! I would like to learn more about it. I feel like most of my issue was the direction of the storytelling where at a certain point, you were just learning what happened through the characters talking to you. And sure they were omitting parts of the explanation, but it was just back-to-back conversations where the characters were revealing parts of the mystery. I think the game was intending for the ending to just be sad and unsatisfying with its resolution, but I just kind of felt like I was being dragged along by the end of the game. I think I also would've preferred if the game committed to making the main character his own guy with a name instead of halving him as a kind of player-insert character. I don't regret buying or playing the game though. I still had fun with it, I just wished I liked it more.
