Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Aug 23 → 3.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I had fun
I rather much enjoyed this game, as someone who has played the "Trapped" flash games, I've found it much more refreshing to see Edwin Tiong in a much better made Point & click mystery game. This, Tangle Tower, & the newest "Mermaid mask" games has given me much more hope for a renaissance of this genre. I will say though that finding certain clues were a little more obtuse than I would've first thought & its interesting how they went with Sally Spears as the continuing assistant instead of the little girl (I am giving it grace by assuming she was from the first game?) in any case, its a fun, short little mystery with dare I say more to it than on the first play-through!

A charming detective game with plenty of room to improve The main concept of collecting clues and questioning suspects is enjoyable, and I would have liked to see both systems explored in more depth. The story and characters are funny and charming, although everything remains fairly simple and light-hearted. Most of the puzzles are fun, but also very easy. Some of the deduction sections are strangely illogical, where the correct connection does not always feel like the most sensible one. The hint system is also poorly balanced: disabling it removes all hints, while enabling it often gives away too much, with no useful middle ground. The controls are more cumbersome than necessary because you constantly have to switch between walking and looking around. My biggest disappointment was the conclusion. Most of the evidence seemed to point clearly towards one suspect, only for the culprit to suddenly be someone else without enough explanation to make the reveal convincing. My full playthrough took a little over two hours, and for its price I still think it was worth playing. It is a charming and accessible introduction to detective games, but I hope the sequels significantly expand the investigations, deductions and overall complexity.
So fun, very immersive, great writing, amazing artwork, cool story, awesome voice acting!
Sometimes it can feel weird working backwards through a creator's catalog. The first game I ever played by SFB was Tangled Tower when it was included in the early days of Apple Arcade. That game was a blast and definitely put their work on my radar. But even in screenshots, Secret of the Swamp definitely looked a little rough by comparison. The writing and the construction of the mystery is still good, and the acting is still hitting above its weight class for the size of the studio, which makes me think that good acting is more a matter of good taste, good direction, and good casting than budget. What really holds this entry back is how the art style meshes with the mechanics. Oftentimes it feels like they had to add highlights for important objects because the environments didn't make it clear what was worth clicking on. And the weird petty issue I have comes from how many things you ask people about where they give canned answers. SFB could have gone 2 ways with this in future titles, either by restricting what you could ask about through either punishment or restriction, or by adding more unique responses. And I definitely liked which way they went. Secret of the Swamp is a fun little romp, and definitely gives insight on where this team would go, but it's a little rough for those who fell in love with their later entries.
Идеальная игра на один вечер. Интересная детективная история с забавными персонажами и озвучкой на высоте. Проходится быстро, но весело, а это самое главное.
Awesome voice acting and gameplay!
Heavy-handed af. Frequent bits of narrator saying "Huh, here's a gun lying randomly on the ground I WONDER IF IT' MIGHT BE A CLUE I should write it down in my notebook and ask people about it!" You have to remember to click on every bit of scenery because you never know, there might be a plot token behind it. Worse than pixel-hunting in the 90s because you actually have to click and get a canned response if you get it "wrong" and the puddle was indeed just a puddle. Then you ask everyone about everything, so there's not actually any illusion of choice. There's a plot but there's so much telling you HEY MAYBE THIS THING HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH X that you feel ike you're being dragged through it. Got a fair way through and then gave up.
Short and sweet game. Ending wasn't that great but has potential if a sequel is released.
It is a fun little quest, that does not take too long to finish, yet does not get too obvious and boring all at once. I recommend this game.
