Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Aug 8 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Over 25 years ago a cult classic was born, and a once-younger version of myself happened to purchase said game. Before stepping back into it, I watched some trailers and gameplay footage to see what had been improved and changed. Needless to say, I remembered very little about the original beyond the first couple of levels — but watching that trailer reminded me of what I thought the game looked like all those years ago, and made me realize just how far we've actually come. I can't really speak to what I remember of the original gameplay, but this remake felt genuinely tight. Controls and UI are fairly intuitive and don't take long to wrap your head around. Going back to the original, I had forgotten how odd some of the controls actually were on PS2 — using telekinesis in particular was handled so much more naturally here, showing that Black Forest Games really did their homework on improving the core systems. Worth mentioning too is how brief some of the levels are. Many can be over almost as quickly as they begin, though going back, I do remember this being fairly common in games from the early 2000s. That said, difficulty spikes do come out of nowhere at certain points, causing plenty of restarts on levels and bosses — particularly towards the end. Thankfully, checkpoints are generous, dropping you right back where you failed, which is very much appreciated. One of the things I genuinely loved discovering in the remake was the reuse of original sound clips and voice lines. I came across a couple of articles confirming as much — Black Forest Games stated that they kept the audio from the original game, preserving the same legendary delivery from the original voice actors while improving the audio quality as much as possible without losing its original feel. So many remakes simply ditch outdated source material without a second thought, but the decision to keep it intact here is exactly the kind of small touch that keeps the original spirit alive and well. Speaking of that original feel — something that genuinely impressed me was the visual treatment of the human characters. Compared to the original, the remake plays them almost as caricatures of what the source material was reaching for, and personally, I think it's a wonderful touch that elevates the game without getting in the way. Contrasting nicely with that is Crypto's voice work, which at times sounds like someone doing an impression of Jack Nicholson pretending to be an alien — and honestly, it works. Overall, I'm a big fan of what this remake accomplishes. The majority of what made the original memorable has been preserved, while the gameplay mechanics and clunky UI have been meaningfully improved. It's a tasteful, respectful update that I'd recommend to anyone with fond memories of the original, or anyone coming to the series fresh. At $30, the pricing feels right — there's enough substance here to back up the ask. 86/100.

Destroy All Humans is the GTA-style love letter to 50s sci-fi cinema. With a great satirical edge, this game takes inspiration from a whole host of 50s sci-fi films, including Invasion of the Saucer Men and Earth vs. The Flying Saucers. You play as Crypto, a wise-cracking alien that loves nothing more than blasting humans. Sent on various missions by his superior, Crypto will need to help conquer Earth for the Furon race. Get ready to disintegrate and probe your way to domination. While the game offers multiple open-world environments for you to explore, both on foot and in your spaceship, you also have a series of more structured missions to complete for the story to unfold. Each area looks really good and offers something completely new and the missions have enough variety to keep you entertained. You get a nice variety of weapons to use. You can also disguise yourself as a human, read people's minds, use telekinesis and fly around with a jetpack. Beyond the gameplay itself, it's the satirical humour that keep Destroy All Humans so fun. Crypto can be a little crude at times but that's why he is pretty fun to play as. I also love all the sci-fi film references. At one point, I even saw Teenagers From Outer Space playing on a screen. The game looks really good, this is a remaster of a game from the mid-2000s and it looks noticeably better. I've heard some people say this looks more cartoony so you may have a preference for the art style in one version over the other. The music also fits well. Both the on foot and saucer controls work pretty well. However, I think some of the aiming and camera movement with the saucer could be a little better as it sometimes felt difficult to get the right angle for some shots. When it comes to pure gameplay, Destroy All Humans is not as captivating as GTA or Red Dead Redemption but for an open-world ode to 50s sci-fi, you can't do much better. If you have a slightly twisted sense of humour and are a big fan of films like The Day The Earth Stood Still, The Thing From Another World, When Worlds Collide and the countless other sci-fi pictures of the 50s, you are going to have a real blast. Gameplay: 7.5/10 Graphics: 8/10 (for the style they were going for) Controls: 7.5/10 Replay Value: 6/10

Classic Game still fun
Love this game, reminds me from the old ps2, nostalgic s2 s2
I played this on the PS2. It's not as adult as it use to be. But overall it's pretty much the same game from the PS2 era. Super fun and had a blast playing it. Had the same amount of fun when I was a kid.
Nice remake, get it on sale as $30 is a bit much. The last mission is tough, the robo fight is tough, but you have to be smart in shield blocking and absorbing for health. Do some upgrades on saucer, well a decent amount. The last real fight in the same mission is really tough, for me it was. I tried multiple times, but had to farm 15k DNA at least and upgraded disintegrator ray to max. I also did probing "strat" 😂 was spamming that to stun. I did 1 full playthrough run in a day, I'm not sure if DNA got nerfed in this new one (didn't pay attention as I just kept getting them fast). I think the boss fight from old was easier or I had the ray maxed instead last time. Last mission easily the toughest in the whole game. After dying maybe 3 times I went to farm and returned and won. During my full play in 1 day I found no bugs, 1 crash, but that's UE for you. I has the screen on pause and the went to doing some quick mind control and type switch in Union town and my screen froze to crash. Other than that no issue.
