First off.....this was NOT a well thought out game. The story is there, the RPG action is there, but it is a hot...mess. If you want the game achievements, go at it but you have been warned. You are either stun locked late game from enemies over leveling with you and piling on the status effects. Or you can't even properly distinguish what items suite which characters best. It gets to the point that you have to fight the same battles over and over again (battle restart from party death) just for a hope of the highest or lowest level enemy dies first for you to even have a chance to progress to the next "stationed/fixed" encounter. The supplied walkthrough: Also....after reading the official steam walkthrough, there are many discrepancies. Either translation or shear forgetfulness. A large chunk of proper info is missing. Some spells listed will only do double digits when your at the point you need thousands for DPS. Plus the percent chance for your character to do statue affects to the enemies is close to zilch. But for it to affect you it's damn near 75%. For me I noted there is the section in chapter 5 where you fight Karra (BS Mode). Walkthrough posted the battle was bugged for them. It's not bugged. The game is literally rigged to force you only to do certain moves to deal proper damage or only do 1 DPS at a time. In chapter 7, if you don't force your characters to LARGE X-skill dump spells on the enemies, your dealing anywhere from 2 to 3 digit damage while the enemies have around 10,000+ base HP. The walkthrough is misleading stating some bosses are easy, when in fact they are not. My final thoughts? Not worth your time at all. It's a massive headache, with a huge unbalanced battle system. If I could have refunded this game I would have! Absolute garbage. Edit: I beat the game at 31 hours. I made it to that 1.8% that actually swallowed their anger and finished it. Receiving the final achievement,

A mechanically flawed experience that systematically undermines player agency. Map traversal is constantly interrupted by sudden, unavoidable encounters—you can rarely take two steps without triggering a battle. With an estimated 5% escape rate, these engagements are effectively mandatory. Combat depth is equally absent: most skills deal a flat 1 damage, rendering them purely decorative rather than functional. The penultimate fight is a structural failure. You are forced to face five opponents simultaneously, three of whom apply continuous stun effects with zero counterplay. The party provides no cleansing, support, or interruption mechanics, leaving you to passively watch your character die while permanently immobilized. If you wish to avoid developing a lasting aversion to RPG Maker titles, allocate your funds elsewhere. This project offers neither balance, meaningful progression, nor respect for player time.
Worth a few bucks on sale if you miss SNES-era JRPGs.
