Great game Love the voice work. I can see all the love put into this game and it shows. Story is awesome game play is engaging it is a good game.
Do you like adventure, cookies(preferably not the rotten kind yuck!), clingy princesses, plus lots and lots of puns? This game has all of the above. I will note that it’s not as polished as later games in the series since it was made on an earlier version of rpg maker, but overall I haven’t run into any issues or bugs that break the game in any way. Pros: easy to learn combat system. different magic type advantages for different enemies.(play around a bit to learn what attacks and spells work best against certain enemies) lots of witty puns and references to other games if you’re into that. Leveling at the start of the game is a bit of a grind but rewarding once you hit a certain level.(you hit max level at 55) you can raise your stats with stat boosting items that allow you to raise your base stats even when max leveled. (hp, attack, defense, and magic defense) There’s gold and items hidden across the map so make sure to check as many areas on the map and towns for hidden loot. special bonus game content after beating main story + bonus dungeon. Cons: There are some grammar errors here and there. The screen flickers when in full screen and I have to hit <alt> + <enter> to switch to normal sized window to play. (this is a minor issue with the launcher and not with the actual game and it’s design itself though) Overall conclusion: stands out from most rpg maker games i've played. as far as rpg maker games go, it’s worth trying out if you’re new to playing rpg type games and old school type rpgs. Also to note there's some areas that are pretty large so it’s easy to get lost if you don’t know where you’re going. Ttill currently working on the bonus dungeon and looking forward to trying the 2nd game and possibly playing the 3rd when it releases
