About

Antisphere is a PvP competitive twin-stick shooter where you compete against other players.

Antisphere is a fast-paced arcade shooter where your goal is simple: blast away the competition. It’s just two ships in one arena - going head-to-head. You can customize your ship and your loadout to make sure that your loadout is optimal. Play against friends and see if you got the speed and reflexes needed to win.

Antisphere is multiplayer PvP at its finest. Grab a friend and just jump in, locally or via Steam Remote Play Together.

To win you got to have what it takes. For you Antisphere could be just a fun casual game, where you and some friends fight it out. Or it can be as hardcore as you like. As long as you’re competing!

Everything in Antisphere is customizable. You can change your ship to fit your liking - everything from color and vapor trail to body and shield but most importantly you can change your loadout.
Each weapon loadout is based on one of the following: Offensive, Defensive and Ultimate. So depending on your choices, matches are gonna differ greatly. You can customize and combine almost endlessly and more content is going to be added!
Maybe a Wall Spit or Curve Ball for your Offensive, Stun Dash or Teleport as your Defensive and finally Shotgun as your Ultimate?
Also, see if you can create the perfect counter loadout to beat your friends.

If you own PAYDAY 2 on Steam, you’ll automatically get 2 exclusive Antisphere masks. If you buy Antisphere, you’ll get 6 additional masks.

Online services are no longer available, the game is literally dead. Don't buy unless you really want those Payday 2 masks.

Antisphere is an unusual mess... it's a console ported 2D retro "pixelesque" (somewhat high res but still basic pixel "art") top down arena shooter. There was an online multiplayer mode but the developer pulled the plug on the back end servers, so online multiplayer is dead. The choice for the developer to pull the plug on their servers but continue to try selling the game is unethical. The game is advertised as multiplayer when this is not possible. This is misleading and can be construed as an attempt to scam gamers. And that's not okay. In fact the most important thing to know about this "game" is that it came bundled with some skins/"masks" for the popular online game, Payday 2. That's the only reason anyone bought this garbage! In fact if you do try to play it (there's a single player game mode which is the only way this can be played now that the developer pulled the plug on their servers), you'll find an ugly, convoluted shooter with needless complexity like shield modes and so on.. it's headache inducing, and just badly assembled and badly designed. On the upside, the game does feature customisable controls and resolution, so at least some of the basic, minimum requirements have been met. Unfortunately there's a number of other technical defects and shortcomings which contribute to the game being difficult to recommend to gamers. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. To make matters worse, while lazy, low quality pixel "art" has been used, making the game look bad, many elements of the game aren't done with pixelcrap... which accomplishes a couple of things. First, it shows the developers perhaps could have done better and they knew it, so that's a major screwup. Secondly, it destroys any hopes the developer had of creating a "retro aesthetic" as their excuse for the lazy pixelart compromise... It looks completely inauthentic from a retro gaming perspective. Visually, this is a hamfisted mess, a dogs breakfast of bad visuals, and this kind of laziness and poor quality should never be foisted on gamers. While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the simplistic 2D art assets used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the lacklustre 2D visuals. The developers didn't design the game for modern gaming PCs, as such the display resolution caps out at around 1440p, there's no support for the state-of-the-art 4K or higher resolutions. The game simply won't look right on modern gaming displays due to this failure on the part of the developers. Because this is designed for consoles, it carries a number of deliberate design deficiencies. Compromises were made to cater to the inferior console gaming appliances that the game was designed for. These are unfortunate compromises and limitations that PC gamers shouldn't be forced to accept, but it's evident that PC was a second thought for the console-centric developers. The game is deficient as a result of these choices, and would have been so much better without the handicaps that designing games for consoles forces upon a game. Once more, console peasants have made gaming worse for everyone. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. You don't have to take my word about how bad the game is, we can measure the interest in a game by how much people bothered to play it. Antisphere has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game absolutely failed to capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is for unlocking 8 specials, trivial to achieve, but less than 8 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game. That's a tiny, tiny proportion of gamers who even bothered with this. Ouch. Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this game was with players reveals a surprise... there's a very healthy spike in player counts for the game. But this only happened once, and isn't consistent with the achievement stats, that show less than 8 percent of players bothered playing the game for any reasonable amount of time. How is it possible for this game to have so many concurrent players who didn't bother engaging with this game? Trading cards. People will use card idling software to collect the cards and sell them, but this won't trigger any achievements in-game. That tells us people only really bought this game for trading cards and Payday 2 skins, and that's a damning indictment of the woeful quality. A closer look at the numbers shows the game just has a couple of players every week running up the game and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with little merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards. Antisphere is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the unethical acts of the developer, this is impossible to recommend. This is also competing with over 9,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.
A neat little mobile game.
Quite fun and fast paced 1v1 multiplayer. Few special abilities and nice customization options. There are singleplayer challenges, and multiplayer with both casual and ranked modes. Ranked is quite similar to Hearthstone's one, except you start from rank 12 and go to 1, after that you can gain Ace rank just like legendary in HS. Fun online, I assume would be even more fun couch pvp, gotta try it out! Key received free from developer stream giveaway
