I was never super interested in playing Phasmo after watching others play it. It seemed very repetitive and like it could be "hacked" easily once you played it enough. I had only played Phas once or twice when Demonologist was released. I tried it based on the gameplay trailers as it looked more immersive than Phasmo. And wow I was not wrong. Playing Demonologist feels like watching a "choose-your-own-adventure" horror movie in the best way possible. Some of the core mechanics of phas and some of the ghost descriptions are the same, for sure (which like, fair, because the ghosts are canon for their origin story) but the INTENSITY of the interactions is FAR beyond that of Phas. Everytime I load this game up, I have to question my mental health because some of the interactions are SOOO scary even if you have seen them before. Even if you are "prepared" you are never prepared. It's genuinely so terrifying and immersive it makes you feel like you're in danger the moment you step into each map. If you are a fan of paranormal horror movies and/or thought Phas was good but too repetitive, definitely try Demonologist. This game haunts me in a beautiful way.

I can’t even get past the first house dude i swear I can’t figure out how to work the tools to get whatever I need to get done to get a different level they need better training and a break down how to use tools cause I copied the same way they did the devs when I watched the video on gameplay so idk lack training and explaining is my fallout in the game and it’s actually upsetting cause this is a game I definitely wanted to play and get into I guess I will never be a certified demonologist so thanks alot devs for explaining everything….u should of graduated You’re mom went to college 💵😚🤰💩🥵🤰
