[h] Great if you liked Plants vs Zombies [/h] It's a lane-based TD with economy like Plants vs Zombies, though the devs have added a number of twists to make it their own. It's definitely not anything like a lazy reskin. One big change is that active gameplay from the player via casting spells matters, down to timing the cast to interrupt big telegraphed special moves. The timing isn't tight as long as you're actually looking out for it, but it's not the sort of game you just throw up your towers and afk on turbo speed. The boss battles are also a very fun changeup, as you switch from the normal slow, steady buildup to this frantic slapping down of towers as the boss mows down the last batch, slinging spells all the while. The rougelite mode is a nice addition, though it seems recently added and still pretty rough around the edges in terms of feel and flow as of the time of this writing. Those itching for more PvZ right now will enjoy the core experience, though you can also just wait until the game is actually finished and more polished. Everything I've seen so far has me very optimistic that it will continue to get even better. It's already pretty fun as it is.
