The game is full DECK ready! Thx!
Очень понравилась, жду продолжения!)
Ok here's the thing, I recommend with conditions. I got to the last boss in the second to last level, took me a hell of a time to beat it but I could not proceed because of a bug. I backtracked looking for a health potion which activated a checkmark which apparently bugged the game and prevented a needed cinematic from triggering. Why am i recommending? Because I did enjoy myself, but there are flaws. Graphics, art and atmosphere are to my taste. I enjoy this look. Combat is simple, but enough depth to feel different. It is slow and methodical, but you can get by button mashing normal enemies. The controls can be frustrating. There is a slight delay, this isn't DMC nor is it as intuitive as Dark Souls. I started with a KB/M but had to switch to a controller later because I could pull off moves quicker. It's a better game with a controller, but still not ideal. Music fits but nothing special. You have to really like combat heavy linear Dark Fantasies with little story to enjoy this. And that bug I experienced pisses me off, but I do look forward to playing again with a controller and hopefully beating it. C+ game, buy on sale if you meet the conditions.
Demon Skin truely deserves the term outstanding! I was convinced already, when the intro played, because the devs managed to conjure a great, action-oriented dark fantasy atmosphere. When the game started, I was like WOW, because Demon Skin simply looks awesome! The graphics are full of details, and being only in the second-or-so level now, I already saw a lot of different scenery, every one of them packed with lovely details like ice-frozen yetis. Coming to the gameplay, Demon Skin is very linear, but highly rewarding to explore the levels, may it be with new weapons or shards of a gem that increase your combat-ability and change your appearance. Battles with enemies are challenging but not impossible so far, and you're offered a big amount of combat skills and dozens of melee combat weapons to use, some of them offering ranged special attacks. If you beat enough spiders, skeletons, dwarfs, mechs and many more different enemies, you increase in level, being able to use skill points for health, endurance, or strength. I cannot wait to continue on my quest. Full recommendation for this epic hack and slash adventure!
Неплохая игра, но очень короткая. Сюжет довольно интересен. С удовольствием бы по этой вселенной что-то еще прошел.
Hidden gem right here boys! Well done all around. Very little to complain about except that there isn't a sequel yet. Some may complain that it is short but that is a relief. I am done with padded out games! Loved everything about it; the secret weapons, the specials, the gore and finishers, the scenery, the shards that upgrade your armor and appearance, the simple upgrade system. Reminded me of Blade of Darkness. Other dev teams should take note. Thanks for this one devs.
I am going to recommend this game with the caveat that you do not expect it to be a simple hack and slash side scroller. There is an element of puzzle combat, matching the stances of your enemies to block. The system is a bit clunky at first till you begin to understand the intended game play. I was a bit confused, I thought I had to use R stick to switch stances, but just hitting the corresponding attack button (Y for upper, X for middle, and A for lower) it automatically switches the stance for you. It's a slow steady paced game that draws you in with consistent progress and learning. You will die a lot finding the right jumps but it is never so punishing or difficult that you don't learn from your mistakes or get stuck and can't move forward. It keeps track of every death even if you go back to a previous load just to experiment with a section...so keep that in mind...I racked up an extra 15 deaths thinking there might be a way to kill the werewolf you run into at the end of the level after racing an avalanche behind you....It might be possible if you put all of your level points into attack before you get there.... Just a heads up. I did not do that. Full price, I would say it's a bit of a niche recommendation, but on sale, I would recommend anyone try it out for a change of pace from the usual hack and slash fare. **EDIT: After coming back to the game again, I remember why I put it down and I wonder who I was when I wrote my previous review. The game is terrible. Absolutely terrible. Completely unresponsive controls. Unexplained attributes of weapons. Just terrible. And totally abandoned by the devs. If you like games that cannot figure out what they want to be or how to be fun, and if maybe its on sale for 90% off, maybe flip a coin on it before you buy.
Пойдет.
