About

Democracy 3 is the work of a single developer, Cliff Harris from the UK, an indie games veteran who has been making games since 1997 and programming since he was 11 years old. Cliff gets some 'help' from his cats, but frankly not much...Sums Steam only; GOG publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Reviews
It's ok. Not bad, but not enjoyable past the first run or two; and they don't take long because you get assassinated with an alarming frequency.
Game is unbalanced and broken.

Not a horrible game, but charging $25 for what's essentially a mobile game is absolutely absurd.
This game is either horribly broken, or heavily geared in favor of Right wing Policies. Not a single left wing policy or decision made anyone happy or like me, not even the Liberals or Youth. I just get more hate every time I'd raise minimum wage or start a Social program. I lost reelection by 95%. Its like the game was specifically designed with a right wing bias lol.
Most toxic dev I've ever seen. Go check twitter.
It's fun for anyone liking to play with government policies and management. There's an obvious push towards certain policy types and you'll most likely be executed for your decisions.
你可以看看你与领导人们的差距
I became Prime Minister of Australia for life by giving them what they need and not what they want. Which was doing the bare minimum for capitalist to avoid them funding a coup or try assassinating me. Same with the religious groups. Health, Education and Science were a top priority. The highly educated workforce with 1st class universal healthcare. Were global leaders in innovation. Overall a happy intelligent population. Unlike the real world.
Lot of potential. This Genre is relatively underdeveloped and the UI is really cool. However, the game play is often linear, and, if you want your country to succeed, then you are forced down a set path every time. I'd like to see your choices have more effect on other choices. For instance, selecting to build better roads increased oil pollution and consumption, regardless of the fact that previous policies might have eliminated gas-powered cars altogether. Fun game and thought experiment for a few hours, needs work to be anything more than that.
I love this. In my first game I decided to live out my dream and my political views. GDP took a nose dive, but I improved the incomes of everyone, removed reliance on the car, yeeted alcohol out of the window, made an egalitarian society, turned the country nearly communist, and then got shot by a religious nut 3 years in. This game is beautiful, and I hope you guys enjoy this and/or democracy 4 which just released. If you have views that contrast with what we see in society, this is an amazing way to see how it could turn out, and overall just f*** with the world for the hell of it. I love this game.
