About

Democracy 3 is the work of a single developer, Cliff Harris from the UK, an indie games veteran who has been making games since 1997 and programming since he was 11 years old. Cliff gets some 'help' from his cats, but frankly not much...Sums Steam only; GOG publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Good game for those who want to train their brain but only have low PC specs
This is a great game if you like being randomly assassinated. There's a reason I haven't played this game since 2017, and there's a reason I'm writing this review in 2021. This game is broken, and assassinations happen all the time. I want to like the game play, but it's just not possible when you go from a warning about an extremist group in one turn, spend political capital addressing it, and then being assassinated the next turn. Not fun for someone who wants to actually play around with the game. It's like playing a game of chess with a friend, and you are shot dead in the middle of your turn. It's like playing a game of Clue, except you're the one getting murdered. I hate this game.

Should be able to make more economy changes at once, as in a yearly budget, ie. lower military spending while at the same time raising corporate taxes and raising tabacoo taxes to lower spending and increase funds for curb side recycling. Game is drawn out and not fun as it is in my opinion.
Very basic game.
It's fun, but the tutorial is very unfriendly, so I recommend watching a Youtube video instead (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GiHMadFbAxw). After that, you get a grasp of how to do things, but every time it's too easy once you handle the alcohol abuse issue, so after playing for ~10 hours I got bored of it. So, while it's a good game, keep in mind that the play time isn't long.
Honestly, what a hot piece of garbage. And it's expensive too. There are only two real playstyles: 1. Roleplay an irl party and lose the first re-election, making your progress go down the drain. 2. Raise taxes, pay off ALL of national debt, fund education and healthcare. Good job, you just solved half of the problems a country has and you have a large surplus to solve the remaining problems. The game also isn't exactly easy to read, feels like it's from an a lense of the American political scene and what I hated the most, EU members are somehow allowed to enact tariffs. That's basegame ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ content, France and UK, what the ♥♥♥♥?
only benefits to legalizing all drugs and defunding the police lol dumb bias game. Man's problems are spiritual not political, Christ is Risen.
Biased game; uninteresting slider mechanics. It's not really a game and more like a running excel spreadsheet.
It's fine and fun for an hour, but there's not a whole lot of depth to it.
