To moja pierwsza ocena gry i zdecydownaie polecam z poniższymi zastrzezeniami!
fun 4x game, TONS of late game possibility but the time you get to late game your units are gods compared to everyone else and leaves little room to test your godlihood against worthy foes
Nice for many options
Deity Empires is a classic old school game, inspired from the 90' and '00 games. With classical 2D graphics. And classical game systems. The game have alot of advanced features like the crafting/magic/city system, and how you can build your units (which is even more improved on by great mod makers like MrHyms) (there are also high resolutions mods for units to make the game/resources look better) The game settings are also availible in a settings file in the games core folders called settings.txt where you can modify everything from army size, dungeon diving, FoW range, and any other setting that you could ever imagine to change around with, playing with 8, 18, or 40 units in a army makes the game a whole different story to tell when the AI shows up with more ancient dragons in one army, then you have units! I can't remember how many years ago I bought the game i think it was around late 2019-2020-something, but it's one of those games that I did play while grow up , and just had to do one more turn. I like playing big maps, so I usually end up with playing on sizes around 300x300 or 350 or 400, and I can easily spend 50-75 hours over several weeks of gaming sessions to finish a single game, my longest game so far is still in progress at turn 5832 and is probably over 100-125+ hours or so, on the highest AI settings with army size of 40 (while my own armies are only allowed size 32), so every single fight and unit matters! This is a game that's very easy to learn, however to master it to play against 8+ AI's on the high/highest difficulty you'll spend alot of time! - Microing every fight, building every army to it's maximum potential, with looted/crafted items, the right spellbook combinations from the start for the strong/right buff spells- for the builds that you're using (yes there are several ways/tactics to build your units!) and all the different synergy between the units. The developer is currently working on a halfling/undead DLC, as new content which they hope to release 2023 - Due to that the game is not a 'super big seller' - The solo developer mainly spends their time working at a normal job, and whenever they can put in some developer time on the hopefully new DLC in 2023 (it might be later, who knows!)
Deep and yet quite balanced game. Some UI interactions could be smoother, but one easily get used to them also because it allows a unique fine-tuning of strategies (still discovering them).
I love this game. Can't stop playing
Very enjoyable and deep. I have started a few games, played up to 5 hours in, and then restarted. The game has a lot of depth, its not as complicated as you may think, but it certainly is very deep. I think it's great!
This could have been such an amazing game, and in playing it, you really really want it to be that game. Sadly, it needs someone to finish it, and its not gotten the development it needed. Its a sad wreck of a game, that could be so amazing if there is just some more work on it.
Winner. So many interesting mechanics and seems well thought-out overall. Having a blast coming up with various ways to improve my cities and explore deeper dungeons.
