Deer Journey

Deer Simulator is a delightful walking simulator, while it is a short game, it is a wonderful journey. It's more of an experience than a game as there is not to interact with but it is a lovely story for nature lovers who just want a short game to enjoy.

Почти всю игру на экране была дёргающаяся полоса. Геймплей скудный, просто иди вперёд и смотри вокруг. Куда идти ясно далеко не всегда, ночью так вообще. Посыл игры хороший, но реализация скучновата. Лично для меня визуал не настолько интересный, чтобы получать удовольствие от происходящего, не глядя на имеющиеся недостатки.

Boy, this is one UGLY a** game... I played on epic graphics but it is so yank. The textures are ugly, the deer is ugly, the world is ugly, the levels are ugly. There is rarely a clear path, sometimes you just have to walk around enough in a level to continue, the river level is absolute hell. On the plus side, you can skip levels but then, why play at all? The game also doesn't offer an options menue other than in the main menu, and half the options it would have needed are not there. The deer is always to the left side of the screen and the camera is often to fecky that you completely lose the thing from your field of view, some levels are also so damn dark that you cannot see anything. This is an absolute waste. in 20 minutes it's over and you'll want that lost time back.

Rád bych hře nechal pozitivní recenzi, avšak líné technické provedení mi v tom brání. A ono pár výtek by se vlastně dalo najít i tomu trošku klišé příběhu. Hru dokončíte za méně než půl hodiny, a to i v případě, že se párkrát ztratíte, což byl i můj případ. Ono totiž level design je jedním ze zmíněných problémů technického rázu. Omezení úrovní se často děje neprůchozím křovím, které se ale jako průchozí jeví, nebo nikterak příkrým svahem, který jednoduše nevyjdete. Na druhou stranu pak se dostanete například k řece se silným proudem, která vás utopí ihned, jak do ní vstoupíte. Čekali byste po předchozích zkušenostech s hranicemi herní oblasti, že toto není cesta k cíli? Pak se mýlíte. Připočtěte k tomu dost neohrabanou kameru a poměrně zvláštně pojaté možnosti grafiky a výsledkem je nepříliš příjemný herní zážitek. Opaku přitom mohlo být docíleno relativně minimálními změnami. V neposlední řadě je rozhodně třeba zmínit cenu (5 EUR), která je vysoko nad tím, co si hra může v současné podobě dovolit.

I really enjoyed this game a lot, the environment was beautiful and the storytelling without any words was very cool. The only problems I have with this game are not really problems but mostly preferences. I wish the Deer were more realistic and there were two other alive creatures in the game, birds and the fire flies. I wish there were more background animals for a more realistic feel. Otherwise the game was short yet very fun to play and it did make me feel bad for the baby deer you play as. Highly recommend if you like nature and animals.

I've never felt so rejuvenated and serene feeling after a game, this game really helps you appreciate your life, and understand your morals, who you are as person, it will scare you, it will worry you, it will make you anxious, thus is life, and this game shows you the horror and the beauty of it all, i cried tears of sadness, i legit cried tears of joy, and i cried tears of hopefulness for the future, thank you for this experience, and i give my regards to everyone who worked on this joyous piece of art. 10/10 will always remember this beautiful game.
