While I think the idea of this game was a great concept, I couldn't get past the voice acting. It sounded like AI and it was super distracting from the actual gameplay. The intro alone was 5 minutes of backstory which could've been incorporated in the gameplay instead of having us sit through the voice acting. I think this game could be fun with a friend to play as playing it solo was a bit overwhelming (managing oxygen levels, doing tasks that required two people, etc.)
This game won't be everyone's cup of tea, but I've played it through twice and had a blast. I have not had the opportunity to try out the game in co-op so I'm unable to comment on that aspect of the game. This is essentially a fairly simple puzzle game within a highly narrative setting. Deepest Trench is the first game from the studio and it is not without flaws. The inability to swim faster while carrying objects makes sense mechanically, but can the couple of levels with a fair bit of to-and-fro-ing seem a bit too laborious (at least while playing solo). The harpoon gun feels "off" to aim and use, due to the off-centre crosshairs, and takes a little getting used to. The writing and dialogue (especially with the emphasis on the characters relationship) is cheesy and over-the-top sometimes, which I think some people would hate, but personally I found very enjoyable and the sometimes janky gameplay added to the charm. For me, this game felt like playing a low-budget, straight to TV, B movie, just with some puzzles. I love those type of films, and I think this game would appeal to others who enjoy those types of films, especially if they want to share that experience with a friend. In particular the design of
the leviathan
was magnificent. I'll definitely be taking a long at future projects from Favor Games.

Joguei solo e gostei. Um passa tempo bom veja gameplay https://youtu.be/XU-5mw7HXEU
Did not get to play co-op on this but I can see it being fun. Pretty unique game, wait for a sale. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ir9XNE96hjQ Steam Recommendations YouTube TikTok
Great multiplayer game, it's a split screen coop which is hard to find now a days. The story of the game is great which needs puzzle solving missions to be done together. The graphics isn't the greatest but the gameplay and story makes up for it.

mt bom, recomendoo
I enjoyed the game with my friend. I played it with remote play which was not so good experience for the player that played remotely. I don't know if local coop has any issues. Gameplay and story were very good. The in-game graphics were gorgeous, well done for that. We encountered some minor bugs along the way, eg the player to be stuck when a door closes near him, but it was solved by restarting chapter. Other than those minor issues, we really enjoyed the game. I would suggest better checkpoints, in order to return near the current spot you died and not so back in the game.
