About
A roguelite strategic deck builder, Deepest Chamber: Resurrection challenges players to endure a series of increasingly demanding randomized descents into the murky depths of a dying city. Unlikely allies will fight at your side, from mighty warriors and powerful mages to pious healers and dark, shadowy figures… Play to your strengths, form the perfect party and venture ever-deeper into the dark in search of answers and salvation.
Card Boosting: A one-of-kind mechanic in which a card's power is enhanced when adjacent cards are played. Upgrade your deck to pack a more powerful punch and synergize your cards’ abilities with different items and mechanics to stack the odds in your favour.
It's dangerous to go alone: Choose from a vast amount of cards, items and trinkets to create your favorite builds and combos. With over 200 cards and 100 trinkets at your disposal, the strategies you can employ are virtually endless.
Easy to learn, hard to master: Face an unforgiving roguelite campaign which emphasizes replayability by employing various difficulty modifiers, diverse encounters and biomes teeming with lore-expanding secrets.
Balancing Act: The hero party system allows players to enlist three out of six possible champions at the start of their run. Each hero has cards, abilities and equipment dedicated to their class, adding an extra layer of planning and strategy with each descent.
Run for your lives: Apart from regular runs, in which heroes retain some of the loot won on previous descents, players can employ Death March mode, in which equipment stats are ignored, for an even more ruthless experience.
Ruins explorer: Uncover secrets while exploring the depths and find hidden areas, rare cards, powerful relics and elite monsters.

Good game, simple. Passes the time.
a fun little causal dungeon crawl.
the game is good, but controller support is SUPER buggy to the point of barely-function for some of the more sophisticated characters. Namely slippery, Cylinder hat, and the tooltip for choosing and replacing cards. If they can fix this, I'll thumbs-up.
I can't get past tutotiral. I tried to click on everything from shown first path and it doesn't allow me to move forward. So it means bad ui or bug at the start of the game.
Iterates on the Genre Basics Deepest Chamber brings some interesting new gameplay mechanics to the typical card battler formula. Features such as giving meaning to where cards are located within a hand, abilities to move them around and powering up cards by playing adjacent ones. These are some refreshing takes on what you typically see in the genre; and I genuinely appreciated this level of creativity and risk taking. The game plays around a 3-member party system (6 different classes in total); each member having its own specific unlockable (though XP progression) card pools. If a specific member dies, those cards are removed from the deck until you manage to resurrect them. Each full clear unlocks the next higher difficulty option with added tweaks to make future progress harder. Other persistent meta progression comes from equipment unlocks with an RPG style equipment loadout screen. Unfortunately, I felt this was a little underdeveloped and could have benefited from even larger selection to hunt after. Finally, there are intra-run relics and consumable boost systems (potions). Deck build variety seemed pretty good; as I felt there was a lot of different ways you could approach each combination of 3 characters decks. Getting exactly which cards you really want in your deck can be a bit of a chore. Similarly, you get some good enemy variety between the regular, elite and boss battles. I ran into a few ambiguously worded cards that didn’t do exactly what I expected; but for the most part the cards work as you would expect. Controller support (including wireless Dualshock 4) is functional but its much easier to navigate the UI with a mouse. Overall I’m glad I played this one and its worth taking the time to check it out.

Depths swallow brave souls Each descent tempers the will Light survives below
