About
Amy’s brother is dead. She hadn't even seen him in years.
Thomas has always been a little eccentric. Obsessed with lucid dreaming and the concept of other worlds. All a little too fantastical for a small town vet like Amy herself.
But then Amy comes across his journals. And what at first seems like the ramblings of a troubled mind slowly begin to seem more and more plausible. Maybe her brother was right about everything. And maybe, just maybe… he isn’t actually dead.
Deep Sleep: Labyrinth of the Forsaken is a point-and-click horror adventure from veteran developer scriptwelder, and a standalone entry into the cult classic Deep Sleep series. Guide Amy deeper into the world of dreams, using the power of her mind to shape her surroundings and overcome challenges and puzzles. Explore landscapes both beautiful and terrifying in your search to uncover the truth about her brother.
But there’s a darkness lurking within the mazes of these other worlds. It knows Amy is there. And it’s very, very interested in finding her.
The game features the exploration, atmosphere, narrative, and puzzles you've come to expect and love while also adding in a sneakily complex turn-based combat system, many items to be looted and used in various ways, and a skill tree to help you overcome these nightmarish challenges.
Solve puzzles and defeat foes using the ability to shape Amy’s dreams around her
Explore nightmarish and otherworldly environments with elements of randomized design
Improve and unlock new skills for Amy to help keep her alive and make her stronger
Encounter bizarre and dangerous beings who could be friend, foe… or both
Multiple endings and secrets to find, if you survive the beings hunting you
A brand new soundtrack from composer Christopher Carlone

Excellent game. The difficulty spike is a bit rough in the middle, but the game really need it for spice I feel.
Could be about 2 levels longers, and I feel like the combat is a little at odds with the rest
Artstyle isn't for everyone but there are some intresting and unusual ideas for a p'n'c. I juste wish that the "awaken" world would had more variety, otherwise it was a great run.
Dobra gierka.
I really liked this game. The story kept me engaged the whole way through, and the turn-based combat was fun to engage with as well as the upgrade and 'conjuration' systems around it. A thoroughly enjoyable experience!
holy crap... i like never write reviews for games but this seriously blew my mind. i grew up playing scriptwelder's games over and over again -- they are, after all, some of the best of the best when it comes to flash games of yore. i figured this would be much of the same, but wow...... just the absolute attention to detail with everything, tying the original trilogy together with a cohesive narrative, and pretty engaging gameplay, not to mention the stunning pixel animations, like god, the improvement over time to such a masterpiece is inspiring to say the least... absolutely recommend, and i can't wait to see what the dev comes out with next!
Amazing game
Scriptwelder’s games are fantastic! And this new addition to the Deep Sleep series did not disappoint. It is somewhat based on the same concept of a horror point & click puzzle game, but it introduces brand new elements such as exploration and turn-based combat. The artwork is amazing and it has significantly improved in this game. This is clearly evident in the way lighting and reflections are simulated. The soundtrack is also really good and fits perfectly. These two features help to create the perfect atmosphere for the dream worlds: eerie and surreal, and keep you constantly unsettled. Additionally, the layout of the dream worlds is randomised, which adds to the game’s replay value. To be honest, though, I did not enjoy the tactical aspect of the game. Early stages were manageable and even entertaining, I would say. However, as I progressed through the game, I often felt like I had hit a wall and was forced to replay previous sections just to farm echoes in order to buy upgrades. It simply became a chore: rinse and repeat. Maybe I should’ve given it another try, or perhaps it’s a skill issue... my skill issue. I don’t know. Thankfully, the game’s difficulty can be adjusted and the combat is simplified, which is a great addition. I take my hat off to the dev for that, as I wouldn’t have enjoyed the game as much otherwise! Overall, I would still recommend this game. If you can look past the combat elements, you’ll find an engaging story, several worlds to discover and secrets to uncover. A lot of effort has been put into this game and it clearly shows. Thanks for the experience! <3
Przyznam.. Grafika: Grafika jest jedyną rzeczą o której mogę powiedzieć same dobre rzeczy.
Amazing game, Sometime in the future I would like to make a game like this :D
