Fantastic experience, especially if you enjoyed the "Choose Your Own Adventure" books as a kid. The best way I can describe this is "D&D for One," where an engaging narrator takes you through the dungeon. Pros: Great voice acting, interesting story with thoughtful choices. Cons: If you choose to play the "classic" rules, the voice-overs will repeat in battle. Just like the books, you could save-scum situations if you choose to. While this is intentional (just like when we had the books), I think it would be neat to have an "Ironman" option if someone wanted it.

loved the variety of gameplay

I'm enjoying this enormously. Eddie Marsan is very soothing. I could play a hundred games like this one, with various great actors appearing as my own personal DM. Vin Diesel should be making these instead of movies. I can go either way with FMV in general but this formula really hit the spot, in part because Eddie is just intimately telling me a story and not trying to awkwardly engage me as a fictional character through the 4th wall. Thanks Fanbyte, for turning me on to this hidden gem.

This game is misleading and dumb. It's a D&D game, realize that before you buy it.
