Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 22.43/day in the week to Sep 11 → 59.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I regret spending the money. Glad it was only 10 bucks though. Boring gameplay, unrelatable characters that are only 'human like' insofar that they're acted by real people, and a world I feel no inclination to save. It's my first Kojima game, and probably going to be my last. If you want an actual rewarding experience instead of playing this, just go get an actual job and listen to someone reading SCP articles.
They told me your name was Sam Porter... ...but your name is Sam Bridges. My bridge to the future. Sam. You bring people together. You’re their bridge to the future.

an outSTRANDING game!
One of the most unique games I've ever played. With some of the most cinematic cutscenes in gaming accompanied by a sparingly used but perfectly timed soundtrack that knows when and how to leave a lasting impression on a long journey. Calling it a walking simulator doesn't do it justice, it's about the journey, the choices you make and the satisfaction of overcoming every obstacle. The online system perfectly fits the game's theme of connection and cooperation and really elevates the overall experience. With a beautiful mysterious sci-fi story that keeps you questioning everything until the end, DEATH STRANDING is more than a game, it's A JOURNEY WORTH TAKING :)
It's patient, quiet, contemplative, and one of the most gonzo experiences I've had. Dodging BT's and making deliveries is just so satisfying, I'm going to come back. Do I even need to talk about the plot and story? There's a guy named Die-Hardman. It's got the subtext of a Lynch and yet it screams at you the messaging like Coppola. Play this game, it's a pretty good movie.
This game is a lot more fun than I thought it would be. The game looks amazing. I actually like the story. People called it a walking simulator which isn't true at all. I would recommend this to anyone who's interested.
Коджіма Піадарас
I have finally decided to delve into this and I regret it. This game has interesting gameplay and an interesting setting. Yet is so poorly executed with a story that feels so off the rails and ridiculous by the start of Episode 6. That I just can't anymore. The game is literally all about making deliveries and then making your ability to make deliveries better. Almost everything you do in this game feels pointless and taking time to do things like build roads feels extremely pointless as you could just power through the story which takes a fraction of the time. Then building anything feels exhausting cause then you have to maintain it and worry about it going away. The game doesn't pause this degradation in the menus which is extra exhausting. Nothing you do seems long lasting or like it matters as everything just restocks after a short time. Deal with all the BT's to get through an area they are back after 15 minutes or 2 hours depending how you go about it, but it takes quite a bit of time to clear a location. The game also struggles from having vehicles that can be exhausting as you can't interact with the rest of the game when on them and constantly have to get on and off them if you want to. Even with the bikes that allow you to pick up stuff while on them. It's just better to get off to grab anything. Not to mention there is a lot of stuff that is given to you to use that seems pointless or you should actively avoid like lethal weapons. Yes I understand lethals are better for BT's that doesn't change that there use case is very limited just like many items in this game and sense everything take space you got to be very selective. Something not being able to check off as many boxes as possible just becomes a nuisance. As there are items that check off all boxes leaving everything else feeling pointless. Not to mention the clutter of random items around the map how are so many deliveries lost. A lot of your early gameplay is with all this random clutter and then when you finally get the ability to do real deliveries it still is a much smaller volume then all the clutter. All in all I got this game for the delivery gameplay and was excited for that, but I could see someone else picking up this gameplay and making a game easily doing a much better job. Making it feel more fulfilling like seeing the impact that your deliveries are making this game only gives you likes.
This might be the most unusual story-driven game I've ever played, and I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I was thinking of buying the next game to play more with BB, but the ending is so beautiful that I want to think the story ends there. I bought it while it was on sale and I really enjoyed it during the time I played with it. Those songs... and the way the story unfolded like a film reel were truly a unique experience. Kudos to everyone involved in this game. i will always remember especially this line; "I'm fragile but not that fragile"
