Dude, it's not scary at all, but if you plug in your headphones and turn off the lights...
camera flickering adds even more fear
Overall, I liked the game, it even scared me a couple of times
Atmosphere - 10/10, the creepy "Crimson" motel is genuinely terrifying. The sounds are mind-bending, and yes, the jumpscares will make you jump! Great horror for those short on time. Less than an hour to explore, gather clues, and get your dose of fear. Worth every penny for the intense thrill!
too naive... but scary
Короткий хоррор с парой страшных скримеров, не супер хорошо, но прям плохим назвать нельзя, есть над чем поработать, чтобы всё стало конфеткой
The emphasis is on exploration and sounds... brrrr. From the very first minutes, the cawing of crows is terrifying. Man, these sounds follow you... you can hear them getting farther away and closer. + Cheap + Good graphics Gather evidence to... although you'll understand everything yourself!!!
Looked very interesting at first, but upon playing it it quickly goes downhill. Even though horror games are best when played on OLED and mini-led, the game looks horrible on IPS (the most popular panel). The game was too dark to see anything (even at max 10 brightness). The audio carries this game hard, truly one of if not the only good part about this game. Walking is painfully slow. The mini movies were a great touch. A checklist on the side would be greatly appreciated to keep track which rooms you already checked (and of which rooms you found tapes for). Generally lacks a objectives system. Even though I like to support small developers, I just can't recommend this game in particular.
genuinely tense for a short game. playing as joe salinger exploring the abandoned motel feels creepy as hell, especially knowing the backstory about the murders. running is an option but honestly walking makes it way scarier. the jumpscares got me a couple of times but the eerie silence is what actually keeps you on edge. capturing evidence feels rewarding. worth the time for sure.
Is it good or bad? Let's figure it out. + graphics + cheap There's no point talking about the rest, it gets boring quickly... I feel like I'm becoming a hostage to these cameras, where not much happens... but be careful, because it's easy to miss an anomaly if you switch cameras too quickly :(
