This game was incredible! Beautiful art. The most of the visual novels i played had normal 2d drawn ppl who are not moving, i cant praise enough that finnally they are moving!! Finally its animated!! Its look so nice but maybe it would have been better with a little bit more effects. I can see and feel that they worked a lot with this game. The story was interesting, my personal fav. was Imbriss. The music was fine, i cant decide now, if it would be better if they had voice act or not it also depends on who the voice actors would have been. First i didnt understand why is this game so "expensive"... But now i get it, this game worth the full price for me.
In 👏 this 👏 house 👏 we 👏 bang 👏 dragons 👏
This is my second game from this developer, and yet again Im disappointed. The visiuals are great, and the moving sprites are something you rarely see in VN. And the men are hot, there is no doubt about it. But like 'Morningdew Farms' the game is just overpriced for the amount of content you get. 20 € or more for a game you can finish in under 2 hours? It's simply not worth it. I learn from my mistakes and will not play a game from Y Pres Games again.
I know I know, played less than twenty minutes and already I'm giving it a thumb's down? Yes, I am. I've played a LOT of visual novels in the past decade and I like to think I know my stuff when it comes down to the quality of the game. I'm not one to judge a game based upon more shallow points, like translation errors or weird introductions to the story or even plot-lines I find a little eccentric or cheesy, but this one was sort of absurd to me. The moment I started the game it hurtled me into the most nonsensical plot-line I've ever seen (I saw a d/ck in the first 60 seconds, c'mon guys). It was rushed, unpolished and messy right out of the box; it made NO sense. At best it was fan service and crack tossed into the pot together. I get the impression the developer(s) wanted to capitalize on the whole gay po/rn thing and spent more time on the service side of things and significantly less time on creating a story that wouldn't leave me feeling violated in less than 20 minutes of my first play-through. And the animations were just...Christ. With a GTX 1050 video card, which runs some of the higher end games like butter, a visual novel should NOT be lagging like nobody's business. Add that to the bad impression I already got from the game itself in just under 20 minutes and you understand my gripes. Though, I still want to praise the art and the effort I know had to have gone into making this game, regardless of my complaints. I'm not unfamiliar with the process of game creation so at the very least I applaud the developer(s) for the quality of the game's aesthetic. The art is very easy on the eyes and the theme of the UI was really pretty. The writing was, in and of itself, well constructed. It's the right formula with the wrong equation, so while I'm giving this title a thumb's down, I'd still be interested in giving the developer(s) another chance with another game. Personally I wouldn't recommend getting this title at all, but if you want to give it a shot, wait until it's on sale.
I waited to get at least 3 different endings before writing this review. I have to say, the story is exciting and seriously deserves a part 2. I keep going through various paths because I really enjoy the story. Each character has their own set of unique personality traits and intentions. The characters are slightly animated which gives them more life. For me, this made them easier to connect with and the story more fun to follow. The music is calm and fits each scenario perfectly. Only advice to readers is to be aware that there is some flashing during sex scenes that could trigger photosensitive epilepsy and migraines. Other than that, it's certainly worth adding to your library.
This is my first game from this publisher, and it was a very nice start. I have already bought Orc Covenant and look forward to the upcoming oni onsen otome. I'd recommend this game as a good starter for nsfw yaoi Otome. The most glaringly positive thing is the art, these boys are beautiful and the sprites look amazing. I especially appreciate the chest movements ;) The story itself was interesting, and it made me want to stay until the end to see what Grandpa was all about, The good, normal, and bad endings for all characters varied in likeability. I believe all the bad endings were well executed and I loooved the sex scenes for them. The normal endings were fine, nothing stood out for them, except slagathors was sad. He's such a good guy and I want only the best for him. My personal favorite was Imbriss, I'm a sucker for a dragon and he was just such a fun character. Second is Momo, then Hikmat, Slagathor, and finally Faeryn. Who I immediately knew was a yandere, I sniffed it through the screen!! I plan on playing other games Y Press has published. I enjoy how they include different elements in character design, especially when exploring different types like ogres and Anubis. Seeing the furry-type forms was a fun surprise that I hope to see more of! (I have every achievement except deja vu, I just can't figure out how to get it ;-;)
My bestie just got this for me as a cheer up, and while I don't generally play a lot of this kind of genre, I'm having fun with this game. If you're looking for something that is a beautiful, slow burn fiction that erupts in gorgeous passion over time...this is not that. This is spicy from the get go, and the characters are all uncontrollably connected to you. It treads the line of dub con, if only because there is a 'calling' that urges everyone's thirst. I say it treads the line, only because the participants seem *okay* and *accepting* that this is a truth. No one seems upset or regretful that they feel this near undeniable pull. If you like raunchy games with cute stories and fantastic art, this is for you. If you're someone here looking for a slow burn build up and angst the way that Twist and Shout (iykyk) on Ao3 did everyone, this is not that.
TLDR - great game, worth the money, I love Momo The story of this game is incredibly captivating and honestly amazing. I was fully invested. And now with Slagathor's route out
and now that we can save Grandpa
, it feels like the game has been tied off with a nice little bow. All the characters are well written. Personally, Momo is my favourite, with Imbriss as a close second. Slagathor is fun and I honestly liked Hikmat's route a lot more then I thought I would. Faeryn was a bit too borderline Shakespeare for me but anyone who likes that kind of character would love him. The art is gorgeous and I especially liked the sprite animation and how they moved and stuff. It helped immerse me in the story. I think there are only 2 things I didn't LOVE with it. The sexy scenes felt a bit forced. Not that they were badly written, just that sometimes it felt like the developer just wanted to add more sexy stuff and threw it in. It didn't really do much for the plot. The other thing is that it's a pretty short game. You can probably finish a route in 2 or 3 hours, so at times it felt a little rushed (I also just want more time with Momo). All in all, a very solid game with great characters and a great story. Highly recommend.
I recommend only because of the orc...
