“Probably the best downloadable title on the market right now.” 9/10 – Eurogamer.se

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

Forgettable game with janky controls, low polish and a generic post apocalyptic story with zero interesting characters. Skip this one.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I see this game has a lot of "mixed" reviews. Honestly, I think it was great! Don't know why I waited so long to play this game, but I finally got around to it 13 years after it came out. Although some of the dialogue seemed a little forced and some of the mechanics of the game were slightly off, I still rather enjoyed the beautiful artwork of this platform puzzler. I managed to beat the whole thing in under 7 hours, but probably could have done completed it faster if the wall jumping mechanics were a little smoother. I did encounter a few minor glitches but nothing that ruined the game for me, would definitely recommend, but I'd say find it on sale. Enjoy!

Box puzzles and instant-death chase sequences: the game. Everything about Deadlight is sub-par at best but the terrible controls stand above the pile of crap that is this game. This was clearly designed to be played with a controller (it's an XBLA port after all) but player movement and environmental navigation still feel awkward, regardless of control scheme, because of movement and control delays tied to animations. There's also several contextual controls that are individually mapped but are used so infrequently that you tend to forget about them. None of the movement feels good which is a problem because of how much time you spend parkouring through timed death traps. Zombie apocalypses are a very played out setting but they didn't even try to elevate the poor gameplay with a decent story. Don't forget, even after a zombie apocalypse, "hell is other people". Act 1 is a perfectly fine city escape sequence, but seems to only exist to set up characters and then kill them off. Forgettable and disposable characters are intertwined with bizarre writing choices, like the Rat Man who has an underground obstacle course that you spend most of Act 2 wall-jumping through. Act 3's writing is a complete mess, involving a paramilitary organization that is pretending to be the government, luring survivors into a trap so they can "use" them. What do they need surviving humans for and where are they taking them? This is the same as every other zombie game, where the evil military is randomly killing helpless civilians (until they eventually get overrun), except in this case it's not really the military. This is yet another forgettable turd of downloadable shelf filler from XBLA. The other seventh gen consoles had issues with digital download quality control, but at least with the Wii you'd get simpler concepts like Sudoku or Mario ripoffs. Deadlight suffers from poor direction and bad controls; a concept this simple should be easy to elevate, but it's clear that the devs were lacking in skill here. This came out in 2012 but the gameplay designs here were already stale back then. You're better off spending the $15 this costs on yet another Metroidvania or another walking sim. Not recommended for anyone.
Honestly, a boring game.

Il date un peu mais très cool à faire même 10 ans après !
It's a very bizarre experience to flawlessly survive the attack of an assault helicopter and drown in shallow water right after.
