visuals/dialogue are weird but absolutely fantastic gameplay
really good
I like the vibe, it's cozy. Very immersive sim like. My favorite part was finding secrets and reading people's emails in computers.
highly recomend
Hidden gem Lukewarm line toronto
This game is like a top-down immersive sim with different skill trees that each give you a viable way to complete missions between hacking, raising the dead, shooting everyone, stealthing through the level or just slowing down time and sprinting for the objective. The mission variety also encourages you to try out different ability combinations and keeps things fresh. I enjoyed my time with this game.
Deadeye Deepfake Simulacrum, as the name suggests, is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. And I don't mean this negatively - quite the opposite, but it does make it a point to beat you to a pulp. Is this fun? Yes. How? The game makes its unforgiving nature fun by giving you several ways to beat the hurdle that is infront of you. Have an objective to kill a VIP? Hack into the building with the various nodes and electronics and find the vip, hack into them, and kill them, without ever leaving the comforts of the elevator. It's a masterclass in player agency and weaves difficulty well enough to make it enjoyable as a whole. Overall? 9.2/10. Favorite game I've played this year. Really fun.
The terminal mechanic and being able to go non-lethal got me hooked on the game. Great atmosphere too
I liked it, the balancing is pretty rough, very easy to make extremely overpowered and cheesy builds but if you limit yourself it's pretty good
