About
DeadEndGram: The Ultimate disRespecter of Your Time
Look, I get it. You’ve spent 3,000 hours chasing a specific roll on a hand cannon. You’ve memorized raid mechanics better than your own mother’s birthday. You’ve stared at a loading screen, thought, "I could be doing something productive," and then immediately queued for another match.
DeadEndGram is a love letter to the grind—and by "love letter," we mean a legally binding contract where you trade your precious seconds for shiny digital scrap. We stripped away the running, the jumping, and the 3D environments, leaving only the pure, unfiltered dopamine of a Technical Operations terminal pumping out loot.
Number Go Up: Start at the bottom and claw your way to a Power Level that makes the gods nervous. It’s the only metric that matters, and we made it big and white so your brain gets exactly what it wants.
The Loot Loop: Equip everything from a Worn Head piece to a Vector-7 Marksman. We’ve got slots for weapons, armor, and Artifacts because a true Scavenger knows inventory management is the real endgame.
The Black Market Economy: Got millions in Scrap? The Market knows. Spamming the Glitch Engram for a 0.25% Exotic drop will aggressively inflate its cost until you're broke. You’ll need to balance your budget or risk pricing yourself out of the elusive, one-per-timeline Black Box.
Mass Incineration: No time to delete items one by one? Fire up the Incinerator and melt down your unlocked trash into liquid Scrap.
Ascension Protocol: When the timeline is tapped out and inflation is bleeding you dry, blow it all up. Use the Ascension Protocol to hard-reset the universe, clear your market penalties, and trade your progress for Ascension Tokens. Spend them on permanent buffs to make your next run even more efficient.
System Overrides: Why wait 10 minutes for a mission when you can bend reality? Manipulate time and speed up the timeline to get that loot now.
Because you love the MMO chase. You crave the Scrap. You want a game that looks like a tactical terminal and plays like a spreadsheet injected with cosmic energy. Stop fighting the inevitable. The timeline is collapsing. Might as well get some cool gear before it's over.
This is v1.0, not Early Access. The core loop is solid, the economy is brutal, and the Ascension Protocol is fully online. However, being a one-man show means I’m wearing every hat—designer, coder, and "artist."
What you’re getting right now:
Terminal Aesthetics: We’re rocking a clean, technical UI because I’m a solo dev, not an art department. It’s functional, it’s readable, and it stays out of the way of your Power Level.
The "Loot-First" Philosophy: This is my passion project for everyone who loves the chase. I’m committed to adding even more Exotics and Unique items with the kind of OP mechanics that make you feel like a literal god.
What’s on the Horizon:
Visual & Audio Expansion: As the game grows, so will the aesthetic. Proper high-fidelity UI assets and expanded soundtracks are on my hit list.
Steam Deck Ambitions: I want you to be able to chase Scrap while you’re laying in bed. Controller support to get this grind completely portable is a massive priority.
No Gatekeeping: Want to skip the line? I’ve included cheat codes to just get stuff. I don't care how you play—I just want you to have fun in the timeline I’ve built.

Been playing this game since playtest. It is an amazing little game just to have in the background. Highly recommend for anyone that is looking for a background game.
Definitely enjoying this little idler so far, numbers go up! Tip when just getting started: initially keep/use gear with flat time reduction, even if the pl is a few lower, will make the grind muuuuch faster:D. Edit: Now have played on and off for several days, and the dev has already actively added several requests from the community, buy this game instead of a cup of coffee and support his work!
Very much enjoying this game, has a very good loop, Love hunting for gear, eventually you get the option to infuse gear, so if you like a piece you have cause it has the right stats, you can feed a higher lvl piece into it, paying some money, to boost its level so it stays relevant. Curious what more there is to unlock
I’ve been playing DeadEndGram since the playtest, and I genuinely love this little game. It’s one of those rare games that just fits perfectly into your day — something you can keep open in the background that quietly adds a bit of fun and atmosphere while you’re doing other things. There’s something incredibly charming about it. It never demands your full attention, but it’s always enjoyable to check back in and see what’s going on. Over time it becomes weirdly comforting, like a tiny companion running alongside your day. You can really feel the care and personality the developers put into it. It’s simple, relaxing, and surprisingly delightful. If you’re looking for a perfect background game that’s both cozy and engaging, I can’t recommend this enough. I’ve been with it since the playtest and it’s been a joy the whole way through.
First time playing a game like this, and let me tell you...I’m hooked. It’s the perfect game to have on my second monitor while I’m playing other games or browsing the internet. I love the dopamine hits I get when I roll BiS items. If you’re in the market for a chill game, please don’t hesitate to try this out!
Simple, addictive clicker that scratches the looter itch without any effort. The scaling gear system feels great, with tiered loot, rarity colors, and the occasional rare/unique drop keeping things engaging. You’re basically here to watch numbers go up and gear get better, and it does that really well. Perfect for when you want progression without the grind. Perfect to keep on second monitor during work or other turn based games.
This is a really fun little game that you can alt tab back to while playing other games. The is some solid progression and the items are really cool and it feels great when you finally land those top tier pieces. Great buy for the price!
yes king
I'm having a blast with this game! I'm loving the grind and figuring out which builds pump the hardest. I'm coming for you tier 8!
DeadEndGram is the most addicting second-monitor game I've ever played. From the first few missions I was hooked. My simple lizard brain saw the numbers go up and it wanted more. I found myself very quickly hooked on progressing my power level to gain access to new missions to increase my power level so I could access more missions.. The efficiency in which DeadEndGram delivers dopamine should be studied. The game is constantly updated and fixed as well, the developer seems very committed to the life and longevity of the game, which is refreshing to see!
