Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

In many ways, this game is a pretty big departure to the previous two Deadspace games. It focuses even more on action, simplifies the resource management aspect, adds an unnecessary and only somewhat enjoyable weapons crafting and upgrade system, and adds a co-op version which is apparently lots of fun, but that's not how I experienced it. Single player works, but still portrays the story as if you're playing co-op and it doesn't make much sense, Speaking of the story, I thought the core of it was pretty good. However, they went a bit too Hollywood with it and added some unnecessary and cheesy drama. They clearly rushed the release and abandoned it when it didn't do as well as they were hoping because there are still some bugs, although they don't have a big effect on gameplay and none of them put a roadblock up to progress. Given all this, though, it still felt like a Dead Space game to me. It was dark and enjoyable. Certainly the least of the 3 (4?), but still worth a play. Production values were high, if a bit unfinished. From what I hear, it's even better if you play it co-op.
The story is alright and makes sense according to the lore so far about what happened and why but idk the decision that they thought was good to go with this game. Instead of the horror and dreadful game that this franchise began, it is now shooter game with almost no horror or jump scares at all. It is designed for a co-op playthrough and no meaningful balancing for solo play. I have to frequently lower the difficulty to normal in ambushes and boss fights and trust me it is very infuriating to do not because of skill issue but because the devs made this IP lose its identity. Seriously EA, just why do you keep abandoning your IPs that have potential and direct them straight to the gutter? I'd only recommend if you care about the lore and keep the difficulty on casual or normal else you are in for a very frustrating ride. 5/10 from me. P.S.: I haven't finished this game yet (62% so far) but I just have to get this off my chest.
I'm gonna die on this hill! This not only isn't a bad game I think it's a great game. I do recommend the game, just don't expect it to be like the other dead space games. It is way more action oriented, and some of the content is locked behind co op (Which is made a bit more difficult since it's so old and this was back when we had gold ol' origin instead of the EA app). I would say this is my second favorite dead space, I think the remake of the 1st game is better but the whole main series are bangers Pros -Love how it's more action oriented, if you liked Resident Evil 5's switch to action I think you'll like this -Also love the weapons crafting. Offers a great diversity and lets you get creative creating your weapons -I do still like the atmosphere and environments, there are some jumpscares but still not as scary as the rest of the series -Dumb but I personally do like the chapter system. Lets you bounce around after you finish the game and even tells you if you missed a collectible or something Cons -It can get repetitive, especially if you do the co op side missions because they basically reuse the same rooms over and over ;/ -The ration seals you get used to be able to let you get some extra resources to help you out, since origin is gone this feature is also gone on pc -I personally don't really like most of the suits. Too...fluffy, I get it fits the ice theme more but it they just feel off -I won't spoil how it ends, but the actual ending is locked behind the awakened dlc. I personally like that ending, but I understand why it's hated...and it's such a shame that's how the series ends :(
