Its a shame EA set a impossible goal for this game to hit so they can have an excuse to work on more live service slop. As for the game its self, its as perfect of a remake as you can get, simple as that, there is some things changed from the original, the characters specifically, its like playing dead space how i remember it so many years ago the lighting is insane, the tension is heavy and all the scares are great, there's not a lot more you can really ask for ( besides getting dead space 2 remake and returning achievements for the classic games) I recommend picking it up, then I HIGHLY recommend playing through the original series ( yes even 3, even though its the weakest in the series because of Corse EA trying to make it a cover shooter with pay to win mechanics, thankfully most of that was rectified in later updates... mostly ) there all cheep so definitely worth playing.

Played it on release on PS5 and enjoyed it back then, Got it on the Summer Sale and I enjoyed it more now. Highly recommend the game to any one who enjoyed the original or 3rd person survival horror games HOWEVER: There is a major "stutteing" issue in the game that caused me to constantly crash through out the entire game. Not exactly sure what causes it and there are fixes via settings and mods that while lower the amount of crashes, there is not a permanent fix that I'm aware of. Was still able to %100 the game and beat it on the hardest diffculty with these issues but they definitely were annoying through out my time playing.

I love it! It's a beautiful new way to play the first chapter of Dead Space. For new players, it's a science-fiction twist on the cursed ghost ship. As an engineer, you have to repair the planet-cracker mining vessel "USG Ishimura", packed fill of monsters and find a way to escape. The monsters can eat a bunch of bullets, so the only way to defend yourself is to dismember them with power tools. "Does that kill them? Or just stop them from moving?!" -Hammond For returning players, the combat has been completely rebalanced thanks to the new "peeling system." The necromorphs no longer flinch when shot, so removing a limb is the only way to stop their advance, but now, you need to cut through layers of flesh, sinew and bone to remove a limb. Some tools are good at cutting bone, and other tools are good at peeling flesh and sinew. Weapons that used to be considered weaker have found a new niche, like the Flamethrower, which doesn't technically "peel" but makes the monsters crisp and brittle. Other additions include: - Kinesis upgraded to the level of Dead Space 2 and 3 with various spears and fan blades to throw. - Side-missions and lockers sealed by "Security Clearence" which lead to unique and powerful upgrades. - Puzzles which manage the limited electricity left in the derelict Ishimura. - Gunner Wright returns to voice the former "silent protagonist" Issac Clark, adding a cinematic touch. - A secret ritual to unlock a new ending in new game plus! - Impossible Mode for the ultimate hardcore challenge! You know you want the reward! Add it to the wishlist and grab it on the next sale, folks!
Genial vuelta a la Ishimura. Buen apartado técnico, port "actualmente" correcto y en cuanto a diseño y gameplay tiene sus limitaciones de la época pero sigue siendo satisfactorio.
