Dead Rising returns with modern graphics in this Deluxe Remaster!
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Sep 8 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Get the OG while you can, this blows mega ****
A little clunky but brought me back to the fun of the original when it came out.

13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

The Enigma DRM they added to the game makes it almost unplayable.
Honestly? What a...remake? Remaster? Well, whatever it is it's faaantastic! There's a bunch of good improvements to be found here, i just wish you could toggle the original voices and the new ones. Hopefully this revives the series though...
丧尸围城多年老粉不请自来,RE引擎重制的画面表现力真的是太棒了 简直是堪比生化危机2RE,细节程度和画面不输给现代的任何一部3A游戏 必须好评,WE NEED Dead Rising 5 !!!
after finishing the original Dead Rising, I bought the Deluxe Remastered right after thinking it would be a total improvement, and to some fans of the series, it probably is but honestly just play the original. The only thing this game has to show for is its graphics, but besides that, the game feels extremely soul-less. It feels like it has lost its charm, and most importantly the dialogue changes suck with that whole censorship nonsense and removing erotica rankings in pictures Frank has taken. Takes away the campy feels of the original game. Seems like a solid game no doubt, but personally I'd rather just stick to the original Dead Rising (2006), don't care how jank the old game is, I have truly adapted myself to it and I love it. Into the refund pit it goes.
Love it just as much as the original! Don't let these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tell you otherwise; it's a chaos-bundled zombie fest with a seriously underrated story! Definitely give it a go if you can!
It’s broken. I cannot finish the game no matter what. It just keeps hard crashing my pc whenever a couple solders come into frame and start shooting me. My controller will endlessly vibrate, and then crash. Only game I paid money for that I cannot finish, so ♥♥♥♥ you Capcom. I want my money back
If you're a fan of the original Dead Rising, there's good and bad news! Graphically, it looks better, of course given on a newer engine, everything from a visual stand point is nicer looking than the original dead Rising, though some could argue that removes the charm of what's overall a very strange and not-to serious of a game. There are of course some things this game does a lot better: Survivors actually have a functioning brain, and move/defend themselves a bit easier. They've added easier access to the EXPANDED vent on the roof Some characters look and sound fantastic, though this is a double edged sword. It's a lot gorier than the original, lots more blood and chunks, the way the zombies fall apart after getting hit with a sword, or crumple to the ground is really really good, they feel weighted and like they're actually interacting with the environment. Camera actually is a bit more interactive, with new tilt features, filters and other strange things to mess around with THOUGH that being said, there are still things that're just arguably bad: While some of the characters look and sound fantastic. Frank looks like a foot and sounds like how I'd imagine a talking foot would sound, some of the characters, mostly the bosses all sound off...It's like seeing family and friends you've known your whole life just randomly sound 100% different, it's pretty crazy. Cliff no longer being a Vietnam vet suffering from a violent PTSD outburst, thinking Frank is a "filthy communist" because I guess they don't want to offend China, now is just 'generic soldier', while Larry is a mixed bag, don't personally hate his new design but it raises up questions on why it was so drastically changed...Raises the China argument again. Aiming when moving, despite the ORIGINAL reason it was so clunky to do, was to force people decide if they wanted to shoot zombies/enemies or flee, backed up by the fact that Frank West isn't trained with a gun. Zombies are FAR easier to traverse, they never really feel like a HUGE threat, which only adds to the anxiety of their slowly increasing numbers and the time limits...Game feels a bit TOO easy. Predatory microtransactions to unlock silly costumes, because there needed to be like 20 of them for some reason, and not hidden behind doing achievements, again like the original was. It removes the 'erotica' system, but still keeps a lot of the weird erotica jokes in the game which raises the question on "why", if not to appease the easily offended usual suspects who were most likely never going to play/buy this in the first place? All in all, it's not a terrible game, probably remade the wrong Dead Rising, in my opinion. If you've never played any of the series, I'd strongly recommend the original, the voice acting is great, the atmosphere drips early 2000's even if it looks a little aged by today's standards. But if you want something that personally sounds a little less good and characters that sound like they're trying to imitate the original cast, but graphically a bit more pleasing? Then the deluxe remaster is for you.
