Abandoned World

A truly fantastic Third Person Shooter! Great gun-play, cool guns, and a pretty bad-ass Character. Dialogue audio could be punched up a bit, footstep sounds could be added. Other than that, this is a truly remarkable game, totally more fun than you ever expect, and honestly, one of my favorite games now. Some cut scenes could be more polished, and some audio could be added and dialed up a bit, but still, this is a game made by a gamer, not a company, and no real publisher either. Please support this game, those of us who love and crave good Third Person Shooters have been blessed with this truly holy experience. Seriously, the game is just totally fun, and with voice acting, cut scenes, and a kind of Escape From New York vibe, you just feel bad ass while playing, and the difficulty is really well balanced. I could go on and on, but I would rather yall just check this one out and see that it really does shine.

Мне понравилось. Такой неспешный и основательный персонаж. Всегда хороший обзор для стрельбы. При воскрешении восстанавливается боеприпас и сохраняется прогресс в отстреливании противника. Странная анимация в самом начале с топором, колкой дров и зомби-дамой, но это так... придирки) с удовольствием прошел эпизод. В одном только месте я провалился в дыру между камнями и не смог вылезти... да, и мне показалось, прыгать персонаж не умеет, не смотря на бинд клавиши на space. Буду ждать продолжения, ну, или полного метра)

Let's be honest. Abandoned World is no where near as good as many of the reviews state. The enemies are for the most part brain dead (pun intended) and this includes the soldiers. It is also not possible to aim and move when crouching, so staying in cover while engaging the enemy is tough. Also, why can't I assign actions to certain keys? And why can't I use the mouse wheel to switch weapons? These are some easily fixable issues. It's definitely a rusty game but for a small developer I have to give them major kudos. With that being said, the graphics are very nice and the story and overall feel of the game is quite good. It also has a nice checkpoint system. I never felt frustrated by having to redo long stretches of the game. Abandoned World with much polish could end up as a stellar title. Keep up the good work. This game has much promise and it's cheap to boot.
